Boutique hotel in a nice area of Rome where you don't constantly see graffiti on buildings. Located on a street across from the US Embassy. Villa Borghese is a few minutes away and its a 10-12 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps. Hotel rooms are decent size but staff not all that friendly. Breakfast area extremely crowded when we went...

This place looks spectacular from the outside and reception are lovely. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. They use a device called "Handy" which can be used for phone calls, internet and as a GPS outside the hotel. It is full of ad's which light up and make noise at 3 in the morning. In our room we...

--- Excellent, great experience. The staff was always polite and the rooms are amazing. Location it's...

We stayed at the Savoy for 3 nights. Our arrival check in was a bit chaotic but that was because we arrived as many were checking out. The staff was very accomodating and very nice making sure we were satisified with everything. Staff was extrememly helpful with navigating through Rome. The location was great very near the Metro station, restaurants...

Location as other reviews have stated is very good. You can walk with ease to many of the historical sites, taxis are very reasonable with a taxi rank more or less...

First time staying at this hotel. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Our 4th time in Rome, but still had questions about where to go and the staff could not be more helpful. Roof top lounge is great for wi-fi or photos. Room was large and quiet- breakfast and breakfast room were outstanding. Very clean. HIGHLY recommend.

Nice location. Close to many things. Bar on top floor has pretty view, but spotty service and restricted hours. Good breakfast. Rooms had awkward layout. Internet was weak and inconsistent. Not a repeat.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
