Again no, we don't have air on inverter. Ok...

Lovely family owned hotel in Rome. Have stayed there three times and loved it each time. Very friendly and accommodating staff, quaint ambiance. Good location for access to bus, metro etc. Walking distance to many great sites, restaurants etc. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet, very ample and delicious. The only negative is that they do not have a great...

Most Italian hotels have the same accommodations, and this one is no different--about what you might expect from a Holiday Inn Express. What makes this motel fail is the service, with a staff akin to a Motel 6. I titled this Hotel No because in the three nights we stayed, we received a "no" to almost every request- from bottled...

There's a fine line between shabby chic and just plain shabby. We booked a standard room, which turned out to be in an annex attached to the back of the hotel, accessed through a narrow emergency door to a patio area and up a dingy, steep and narrow staircase. The room was small, very worn in all respects, more decrepit...

Hotel was clean. Room was poky yet tall ceilings - bit stuffy and air con didn't work. Bed was ok, pillows were pillowy. Staff very friendly and helpful, but too many maps being given out. Barman was very friendly and comical. Grand piano was out of tune so I couldn't showcase my kinda piano skills. Drinks expensive in the bar...

I recently visited Rome for the first time and stayed at the Hotel Giulio Cesare. As a woman traveling solo it was important for me to feel safe and be an an area where good restaurants were in walking distance, and I also wanted it to be quiet at night! This hotel provided all of that, plus a very friendly...

Spent 5 nights at this location. You need to walk or take a taxi to everything. Not ideally or centrally located. Rooms were clean & staff was very nice/helpful. Breakfast was ok, had the basics, nothing was spectacular

Nice location, lovely high ceilings and the minimum standards met for the price. Would I return or recommend, probably not. First visit to Rome so can't compare! My partner and I would give it an average all round rating in comparison to hotels stayed elsewhere.

Well organised hotel with spacious rooms and very comfy beds. The concierge even wrote to us before to offer chauffeur service. Much better than trying to use our public transport and only €50 for 4 people. Breakfast was included and more than enough to start the day.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
