Hotel is very well located. It is old style with the rooms being "modern". Near Harrys Bar however. It is very close to Borghese park and the historical points on that. Most things are around a 15 min. walk.

First visit to Rome to celebrate our special wedding anniversary. We are really happy with our choice of the Grand Hotel Palace. Our stay was very comfortable and welcoming. All of the staff are extremely helpful, polite, professional and friendly. The hotel is decorated to a high standard and the restaurant has beautiful traditionally painted walls and ceilings. We enjoyed...

The hotel is in a great part of Rome near the Spanish Steps. The locations excellent. The rooms are clean and fresh. The service for the rooms is fantastic. Paolo, who is at the front desk is the BEST! He is kind and friendly and will do whatever it takes to make it right. It is people like that who...

Great location close to Villa Borghese, Spanish Steps and Barberini Metro stop. Generous and varied breakfast buffet. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly restaurant and front desk staff. Spent a most enjoyable six nights. Only two minor things we did not care for: bedroom marble floors are cold (although they do place a mat by your bed during turndown service), and the...

We loved our stay in this hotel - cozy and pretty big rooms, perfect bathroom. Helpfull stuff. Close to many of main attraction, 5 minutes to villa Borghese and few minutes to the next metro station. Very nice, but little SPA with pool. The only disappointment was breakfast - dinning room is very beutiful but food isn't tasty and there...

The hotel is conveniently located within 5 minutes walking to buses and the Rome Metro. There are good restaurants near. The room was large but did not have a proper place to sit. One easy chair was so small and uncomfortable that it could not be used by a normal sized adult. The other chair was an uncomfortable straight backed...

Located across the street from the US Embassy on a hill and close to many sights, cafe's, shopping, a quiet area. We checked in for a two night stay a little early but the staff was ready for us! We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in the beginning of February 2017. Hotel is certainly overrated and overpriced. During our second night, we were in the room, and had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Suddenly, two people, in black, opened the door and stepped into our room. My wife screamed and I jumped after them,...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
