Having booked our reservation two months in advance and then called the day we were arriving to advise of a late arrival and verify that our room would be held...you can imagine how we felt when we showed up and were told that there was...More
A very nice hotel with no frills. The lobby is really a small front hall, there is no bar, the elevator is tiny, and the breakfast room is simple. But the hotel is clean and decorated nicely, and it is air conditioned. It is a...More
This "diamond in the rough" hotel was ideal for our four night stay in August. A modest yet comfortable hotel room which met our standard needs. We wanted a safe. clean, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel with air conditioning. Our accomodations were met and we were...More
Average Hotel, but in a great location close to the Castel Sant Angelo, Basilica but also within walking distance of the main shopping areas and restaurants. Room was clean with good aircon as it was quite humid during the visit, bathroom was really clean etc....More
Excellent locaction, friendly, helpful staff. Stayed for 3 nights in August and could recommend this hotel to anyone and we will certainly be using it again next time in Rome. This is not a "top class" hotel with all of the frills but it is...More
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

Pretty certain the stop outside ends up at bus station in centre to transfer . Staff in hotel speak superb English and will advise as to best options - very friendly

Yes, There are air conditioners in the room, and they are VERY VERY efficient. I recommend you leave your room window open while you are out of the room touring the city or participating in activities. When you return to your room close the window and turn on the A/C. It will literally only take about 10 minutes to cool your room to a comfortable temperature. Otherwise, we found that it was almost too cool in the room. Enjoy your stay, this hotel is very nice and if you get up early enough the breakfast is very enjoyable. If you miss breakfast there's a very nice cafe right next door that has an excellent buffet for breakfast.
