Good sized rooms and comfy beds but no view. Fine for short stay but wouldn't want to be stuck in room for long. Nice big bathroom. Great breakfast. Terrific location nr train station. Dinner at restaurant was average. Great service but food was only average.

The best part of this hotel is the location, it is literally a minute walk from Roma Termini. Many attractions are within walking distance. The Basilica of Mary Major is a few minutes walk away, very beautiful. There are plenty of food options around. Check-in was quick and our luggage was delivered to our room afterwards. The bedroom has historic...

Hotel is close to the train station and easy to find as Rome can be a bit confusion when visiting for the first time. Love old world charm to this hotel with friendly staff and good sized clean rooms. Breakfast is a buffet style with plenty of food to choose from even a glutton free section. The other advantage of...

Stayed here as part of a small tour group for 4 nights. Location 5 minutes from Termini Station (turn right outside hotel) and hop on hop off buses. Lovely old Italian hotel with loads of charm. We were in room 307 which is at the rear of the hotel, probably better as could be noisier on the front. Room quite...

I stayed here on my last night in Rome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge allowed us to do an early check in and gave us spacious and clean room with a crib. They helped us with the luggage and arranged a taxi to the airport for the next day. The restaurant was delicious and the waiters were...

Stayed for one night due and luckily only one night. The rooms are completely dated, the bed low to the ground and the comforter was from the 1970's. The workers were not helpful and on a number of times they were on their phones ignoring customers. The breakfast buffet was ok to say the least, much to be desired. Good...

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the stay overall. The bathroom was nice and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was plentiful if not that varied day to day. The service was mixed with a couple of minor issues spoiling the stay a little, but not enough to prevent us from recommending this hotel if you are in Rome. It's...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
