I went to Rome in December and stayed here for four nights. The bedroom and bathroom were well decorated and clean. If you would like tea/coffee in your room just ask the staff and they are very willing to provide it (if I can remember correctly it was at a small extra cost). The staff were very friendly and happy...

This hotel is spot on, location, cleanliness, friendly staff. Rooms all differ in size we had room 222 corner of building lots of light felt like an apartment As there was a small enclosed entrance with a door to bedroom and en suite which again good size. Don't worry about toiletries supplied really good. Ok termini for bus, train and...

The hotel is situated in easy walking distance of the main Metro station and tram stops. The quality of food is excellent and the room quality very good indeed. If you are looking to do the tourist trek around Rome, it is a very good place to stop, because of the ease of access to public transport. It is also...

Great prices, included breakfast, and prime location. Booked a triple room and got a double room with a cot. Address to the front desk and the changed my accommodation. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with question and recommendations for dining. Hop on and off, metro, and train station is 1 block from hotel. Room was clean and great...

Ok, this is a quite ancient hotel but we'd wished the beds were not!! We both have back pains because of the beds.. And it was not a double bed but single beds together... So you have to mind the connection in between! The room was big if you compare to regular Rome hotels but everything was really old and...

Stayed for 6 days at the hotel. It is a block from the Termini Station. It is also walking distance to many museums. There is an excellent breakfast in the morning - hot and cold foods. The hotel has a restaurant but it was pricey and too formal for our taste. The rooms are large, clean with a shower. The...

Lovely large hotel in an interesting neighborhood. Close to transportation but away from the tourists. The Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore and one of the National Museums of Rome are within walking distance. There are many local restaurants nearby and small shops. You are surrounded by local Italians and not tourists.

Elegant, superb! Can't rave enough about this beautiful hotel. Lovely decor, comfortable rooms, helpful staff, nice bar, good restaurant. What more could you ask for?! Convenient to the train station, shopping, cafes and the city tour buses.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
