Hotel Hiberia was ideally located for seeing all the major sights in Rome. It was a 5-10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia, Colesseum & Roman Forum and well connected by bus to Termini Station and the Vatican (Bus no 64 or 40 express). The hotel is located just off the Via Nazionale which is full of shops, cafes...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hiberia. The location is simply perfect for site-seeing (seriously, the great location cannot be overstated), and very convenient to the train station (10 minutes by express bus #40). The hotel is charming and the staff very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is very good, with more choice than most hotels we had...

First the rooms were very small, they only changed our bed sheets once throughout our stay and just because we asked them to because the first one had stains and hair on it, the bathroom was okay but they didn't clean it at all, they only gave us shower gel, no shampoo and at the end they wanted to charge...

A bit far from the train station, but an easy walk if you take Natzionale. Hotel staff, especially Rafael are really friendly and helpful. Loved the old time elevator with double doors to close and loved that they brought up our luggage for us and showed us how all the light switches worked! Versace tiles throughout the room were amazing,...

The ONLY complaint I would have about this hotel is that they need to have more pillows on the bed and that our shower curtain wasn't quite big enough! Other than that the staff were great, breakfast was lovely and it's a very very nice hotel in a SUPERB location!

We stayed in Hotel Hiberia for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location - short walking distance to Trevi fountain and Colesseum. In fact we walked to all the different tourist attractions. We stayed in the double room with an external bathroom, which I would not recommend opting for. Small room! and the bathroom is further down the...

We got a (low-season) deal of 5 nights for 430€ incl breakfast. Location is excellent and we had asked for a quiet room, which the hotel duly gave us. The food at breakfast was good to excellent, but the drinks sub-standard: the fruit juice is fruit squash and the coffee from a machine was barely drinkable – a great disappointment...

This hotel is a pretty good value. The best thing it has going is its location. You can pretty much walk to any of the sites. Its about a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and 5-10 to the Trevi Fountain. It is nowhere near a metro line so if you are looking to have good train access this isnt...

Basic hotel which is on a busy road so there is plenty of traffic noise if you open the windows! Situated near to a number of goverment buildings and a short walk to the shops and cafes / bars. Location is good for Trevi Fountain, approx 5 mins and other major sites not too far to walk. Breakfast is self...

3* in the big cities tend to be much of a muchness and as they go, this was a nice enough place. The ancient, 1920s style pulley lift is a nice touch that makes it feel like a movie. It's located just on the edge of the centro storico, around the Quirinal hill, and you'd need to spend more to...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
