My wife and I spent 3 nights at this beautiful hotel. We were in Rome last year, a nice hotel but much preferred hotel Nazionale. Staff was extremely courteous, the room beautiful, the shower was the best of our whole trip. Windows opened to the Plaza Montiectorio, the Italian Parliment to our left. In the middle of old Rome, we...

We didn't know at first the location of this Hotel, but oh my!! When we got there, we felt so secure, safe and welcomed. Staff members are very helpful and give their 100 % to make you feel comfortable. Beautiful views and walking distance to everything. I'll come back for sure.

The hotel and staff were amazing! The front desk man, Patrick, made my wife and I reservations at one of the best Italian restaurants in all of Rome! He was amazing! Overall, a great experience and would most certainly stay again!

Flying into Rome from Paris, we were tired by the time we arrived at Piazza Montecritorio. Only hotel sanctioned transport can pick up or deliver right at the property itself, so we needed to lug heavy 30" suitcases and assorted hand luggage about 200 feet over uneven cobblestones, plus a few potholes. Being mobility impaired, the mini quad cane didn't...

I chose this hotel after a fair amount of research for a short break with my daughter. It is in a great location in the very centre of Rome and very close to some of the major attractions: i.e. The Pantheon, Trevi fountain amongst others. It was also very quiet despite being so central. We had two separate rooms with...

I would suggest you look at the ceiling in room 207. It is in need of a paint job. The rest of the room was in good condition and we enjoyed the visit. We will return someday in the future. Thank you .

Nice hotel around the corner from the Pantheon .. great breakfast buffet in the morning. On the main street and in walking distance to almost all major tour sites. I would go here again without a doubt.

Old fashioned furnishings and tired carpets, but spacious and comfortable suites. A very friendly accommodating staff. This was a good location and a nice place to stay in Rome. We were only here for one night but it was the perfect place for our short stay. And the hotel arranged a car service for our early morning ride to the...

We were staying here two nights following a cruise and it proved to be a good choice. The staff were really helpful, the interior beautifully presented, the room was clean and comfortable and the location is very convenient for lots of the main attractions. Being really picky, I'd say its position beside the Italian Parliament building can be a bit...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
