We stayed 5 nights at the hotel and found it very convenient to all attractions. There was a cab stand 2 blocks away and a metro station close by. The rooms were on the small side but typical for a European hotel. Breakfast was good...More
Don’t stay here if your more than two people you will get one bed a couch and what looks like a hospital bed! To my disgust one of the more expensive hotels I’ve paid for in Europe - as the staff say you get what...More

Thank you for taking the time to review The Barberini Hotel on TripAdvisor.

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
The front entry way stairs are definitely difficult even for someone without issues as they are steep and can be very slick when its raining. I did not see an alternate entry way but if there is one I would highly recommend... More

Was there in January 2028 - they did not have a transfer but the front desk would request a cab for you when you needed one. if needing to arrive at hotel from airport I would suggest a cab - it is straightforward no changing over, no dragging your bags through the cobblestone streets. If you choose this option be prepared to pay approx 50-60 euro for the one way trip from FCO to the hotel for one person
