I start with an apology to Fabritzio for taking so long to write this review of his wonderful hotel. My wife Gill and I stayed here for four nights in the second week of January. We had glorious weather and did all the sights on foot from the hotel. Thanks to Fabritzio we even managed to visit some of the...

Stayed at the Dei Consoli for our four nights in Rome, November 7 through 11, 2007. Our room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful, with gracious service -- and delicious cappuchino! The location is conveniently near the Ottaviano Metro stop, and within a brief walk to St....

We were very pleased with our stay at the Dei Consoli. The rooms were not huge but spotlessly clean and well sound proofed. The only disappointment was the fact there were no tea and coffee making facilities which you would expect for a 4 star Hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage at the...

We booked this hotel based on price, after a cruise on the Star princess.Although we arrived at 10a.m., they asked us to wait a few minutes and had a room ready for us.After so many people complaining about small rooms, we expected a closet! The rooms are beautifully appointed, immaculate and yes they are not large by American standards but...

My sister and I booked the Hotel dei Consoli for my sisters first time in Rome/Italy. We had the choice of a 3 star near the Stazione Termini (cheaper of course), or here. We chose this hotel because it seemed quite luxurious and in a great location. We weren't disappointed. Me, having stayed in Rome two other times, really enjoyed...

Had a 4 night stay at Hotel Dei Consoli this August and had a great time. The weather was really hot, and coming back to our air conditioned room at the hotel was bliss. Yes, the room was small, but as we didn't spend much time in the room, it didn't really matter. We had a large comfy bed, and...

A really good hotel for the price. The staff were excellent and the location was perfect for what we wanted to see. Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
