This is a typical Marriott in an out of the way location. There is little to see or do that is within walking distance. The hourly shuttle to the Vatican is six euros roundtrip with the last shuttle leaving the Vatican at 9:00 PM. A better choice is to take the suburban train at the Gemelli station, a couple of...

My friends and I stayed here for our recent trip to Rome. I read a lot of reviews and many people complained about the location but we loved it. The shuttle bus into the city was so convenient. We were blown away by how big our room was and we had a great view with a huge patio. The breakfast...

This hotel was fine, but if you want convience to Historical Rome sites, this may not be the place for you. Hotel was clean, nice view of far away Rome. They offer a shuttle that leaves you by Vatican, but there is a charge. Train is about a 7 min walk from hotel.

To begin with: I'm a former, my wife's a present Marriott associate. Our stay in Rome was part of our Honeymoon trip. Both of these were clearly indicated on our booking which all - based on how I used to handle these scenarios - made me hope for an "insider's" treatment and a nice room... In reality we were first...

Dear guest We apologize for any inconvenience encountered. Unfortunately it happens that Marriott guests are accustomed to different standards from those in Europe. Our Hotel is a Courtyard and therefore we have to follow the class standard. We hope to have you again gardito our guest and make them appreciate our renowned courtesy and professionalism. Sincerely

I travel a lot for work and this was my first visit to Rome. We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. I only have two cons to the hotel: 1. The bed was VERY hard and 2. the shower would gradually change temperature while showering. The cons being said I think it was a great experience. The staff is...

I'm a Marriott fan in the Us but don't think I'd stay here again. The staff is nice and helpful so that's a plus. The beds are small and hard. In the morning, there's limited hot water. It's in the hospital district so can take a while to train over to attractions. Once you're back at the hotel, you really...

We enjoyed the restaurants and bar. Although it was out of the way, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We used the shuttle but the regional railway from more convenient and cheaper. We should have realized that the gift shop sold railway tickets because the auto ticket machine at the train station was broken and we had to walk back...

We stayed at the Courtyard the last two days of our trip. Although it was a little farther from the city center, we actually liked that. I am a gold member and we got an upgrade to a 6th floor room with a view of the Basilica. The room was clean and had a great balcony. There was a shuttle...

The hotel rooms are very nice but the bathroom is a little small. We had a room with a balcony overlooking central rome which was very nice. The exercise room is very nice. he hotel is about 10 minutes from the main tourist attractions so they provide a shuttle bus to/from the Vatican for 3 euros/person. It is very convenient.
