Our first room was fine and big with plenty wardrobe and storage space but the air conditioning was not working properly. So after two nights we were moved. Our second room was much smaller but had a balcony. However, it didn't have a wardrobe or storage spaces, except up very high at ceiling level. There was a bar for hanging clothes but not enough hangers so this meant all our clothes were stacked on a shelf which made the room very untidy looking.
The staff are very pleasant and the quietness in the corridors/bedroom area was good. Breakfast was great and was not very busy any morning. Plenty of choice including gluten free options. There is a bus stop close to the hotel which brings you directly to Roma Termini. Also a choice of restaurants and bars locally.

Stayed for 3 nights. It was nice, beds were okay, furnishing was very basic. Bathroom and bedroom were very clean. Breakfast was also okay, there was enough for everyone. Bus and trams were quite close to the hotel. Subway was about 20-30 minute walk. Area around the hotel was nice. Hotel employees were always helpful and courteous. We also missed having a kettle, some tea, and coffee in the room

Spent three nights at the Albani via Globus tour. The rooms were clean and comfortable with large bathrooms. Breakfast is traditional continental plus scrambled eggs and bacon. Map of Rome available at the desk. Neat neighborhood with plenty of local shops and restaurants as well as an outdoor market. Suggest that you walk around the neighborhood if you get a chance. Sampled the pastry shop at the Via Po corner as well as a nearby bar to pick up beer and soft drinks which we took back to our room and a local pizza place -- ate excellent pizza standing up like the locals. We exchanged money at a bank a couple of blocks from the hotel. Everyone was helpful and friendly, despite the language differences. It is a walk to the attractions, but shorter than the walks we took on our tours. Highly recommend the Albani if you don't mind walking a bit and want to enjoy a local neighborhood.

So far this has been an awful experience. My bed is rock hard and tiny, the bar food was expensive and the worst meal I have ever ordered (not exaggerating.). The walls are so thin that a baby crying down the hall has woken me up several times.
Do not recommend. Very unhappy with this experience.

A beautiful hotel! Modern and clean and located in a beautiful neighborhood in Rome.
The staff is friendly and professional.
The breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant is fantastic! Jenny, Stefano, and Sonia do an excellent job and are extremely helpful and friendly.
I will definitely stay at The Albani Hotel again.

We stayed via Globus on June 19th to the 21st. Very nice and no trouble with AC. Always was working. Maybe the people who had that trouble paid a lower rate?:-))
One person on our tour did have a bag stolen during breakfast and this was a "secure" hotel by Italian standards. So beware at all times..even in the states...

I stayed here as part of a Globus tour, and it was the best hotel they put us in. The rooms are a nice sized and the bathrooms are large. The staff is friendly, and they have a large free breakfast with cream puffs, croissants, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The only drawback is the neighborhood. It is a bit of a walk from the main tourist attractions, and walking back at night was a little scary. During the day it was totally fine and there were lots of pizza parlors and restaurants to eat at. We took a cab to the tourist attractions in the morning (ranged from 6-8 euro) and made our way back by walking (about 20 minutes, depending where you go).

We have just got back from Albani and thought it was lovely. Before booking we were concerned that it would be too far out of the centre but we were pleased that we didn't stay near Termini station as it was not a nice area. Albani is set in a quiet and clean area with traditional restaurants and Italian delis nearby. Busses to and from Termini (86, 92) are frequent and easy to use.

The hotel is clean and very comfortable with simple and modern decoration. Staff were helpful, especially in recommending places to eat.

If you are looking for a quieter, less touristy area of Rome this is great. It is not tacky or overpriced and is friendly and easy to get around.

The Albani hotel rome is an experience in itself. I personally liked the unusual decor so what if the carpets green? The bed is pink? It just gives the hotel an energetic and unusual look . Everything was spotlessly clean and the room was of a good size. The staff however were a different story. One receptionist was possibly the rudist woman i have ever met, getting tourist info was like blood from a stone. The location is not as far as some make out. With bus and tram locations withing two minutes walk all attractions are easy to get too. Walking to them is not out of the question either.Room serivce was terrible, one man serving the bar and every room in the hotel. But if rudeness dosent bother you and for a reasonable fee this hotel is attractive to the tourist.
