We stayed here after my husband booked a surprise trip for me- wouldn't return. Whilst it does have some good points - the rooms look freshly renovated, the breakfast ( when available in the breakfast room) is plentiful and some of the staff were incredibly helpful. However, the main, make receptionist hardly smiled in the four days we stayed, the...

We stayed here for 3 nights over valentines. On arrival we were told we were going up the road into the 2nd building which was fine by us. The room was incredibly tiny bit we only used it to sleep so it wasn't a major issue. Staff all super friendly and very helpful. Overall stay was very present. We tried...

Please email or ring them prior to staying or you'll be put in an apartment block not in the hotel. The room we had in the hotel was tiny and air conditioning didn't work so we were far too warm. Our room was 308 and it looked into offices which seemed lit at all hours. The area surrounding the hotel...

The 18 sqm room is way more tiny as described on their website or on agoda. Every where you turn, you are bound to hit something. Service is very moderate, Housekeeping is sloppy. Everything is just basic here, only the location is accessible

Very satisfied with this hotel for our week in Rome. Ideally situated close to the station which made getting around the city very easy. Hotel easy to find; literally straight down the road from the station. Hotel was clean, quiet and staff helpful. We stayed in room 212, which I believe is one of the largest on the floor. Double...

Nice hotel, conveniently located 5 mins walk from the Termini (station) in Rome which makes airport transfers and travelling round the city very easy. The Colosseum is a 20 minute walk with lots to see on the way, and other attractions are a short Metro or bus ride away. The hotel staff are extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgable and cheerful and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
