This hotel is smack in the middle of the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Not to mention a cornucopia of gelaterias, pizzerias, ristorantes, shops, and cafes. It is also within reasonable walking distance to the Coliseum and the Vatican. It's not a 10-minute stroll, but more like a 20-25-minute walk... please use maps provided for you at the hotel. The hotel...

This small hotel has the perfect location with just a few steps from Pantheon and walking distans to most of the other main attractions. Lots of great restaurants and cafes on your doorstep. There is also two Coop stores nearby. My single room was really small and more like a corridor with a small area on the side for the...

We stayed at several hotels throughout Italy over 2 weeks. This one was the best location to amenities. Lots of great restaurants and cafes close by. About 5...

Very nice hotel, less than a minute walk from the Pantheon. Few minutes walk from Piazza Navona and other Rome's landmarks. Very nice room with beautiful bathroom. The bed was very comfort to sleep in. Not easy to reach by car.

Great location near the Pantheon. Staff tried to be helpful however it wasn't always the case. The breakfast was the worst we have seen for this type of establishment. No hot food of any type and coffee was lousy. If you are looking for comfort then be mindful that the bathroom was very small. The rooms are not soundproof which...

We popped into this hotel to ask for some help and the receptionist went out of her way to assist us and did everything she could. I would definitely recommend this hotel - it was excellent service in Rome.

The Hotel is great for sightseeing you can walk to all the main attractions which is the best way to see Rome. Our room was at the front of the Hotel so at certain times of the day and night it was noisy. The room was also dark so you had to keep the light on all the time you...

The staff was great and the location even better. Whithin minutes you're at all the major attractions. Bit noisy at night, but that is due to the central location. No airco did make the room a bit warm.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Pantheon is located in an elegant eighteenth-century building in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona, in peaceful surroundings, characteristic of an old pedestrian street. The interior of this small but luxurious Rome hotel is well-cared for down to the finest detail, embellished with special, unique details such as the Liberty-style staircase in wrought iron, the wooden-clad walls, the ceilings with old wooden beams, the Roman terracotta floors, the artistic windows and the trompe-l'oeils decorations on the hall walls. The breakfast room is a charming place, thanks to the light of the Carrara marble and the dome ceiling painted with sky-colored trompe-l'oeil. Intimate and friendly, the Hotel Pantheon offers a relaxing stay for its guests, also thinking of their well-being with their range of high quality, personalized services such as ticket booking for shows and exhibitions, guided tours of Rome and the surrounding area, suggestions on itineraries and places that must be seen and the plentiful hot or cold buffet breakfast. ... more   less
