Hotel is in a great location, right in front of the Roman Pantheon and 5 mins walk away from Trevi Fountain. Its kept very clean. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, easy to chat to. (Roberto J) Room décor is very elegant to the style of the building itself. Breakfast is not necessary to book as they offer only a...

We could not have been more pleased with the location, the charm of the hotel and the staff. Our room was unique, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was better than many hotel breakfasts in Italy and the extended hours were greatly appreciated. Most importantly, the concierge was very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of mishaps while we were there,...

This hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of restaurants, monuments, and very diverse stores and shops. There are two taxi stations with walking distance. Staff was surprisingly friendly and helpful. Just be aware of the stairs. No recommended if you are unable to use them.

This place is amazing and located in aperfect part of Rome, close to everything! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating to the weary traveler. After hoping off the bus from Rome railway station we walked and eventually found this hotel, not hard to find if we had of had a map to look at. It is in a very good location, close to the Pantheon and all of Romes attractions. We were given a map and with all the attractions circled to show where...

This is a nice hotel in a great location, the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the lady who served breakfast. The room was a lovely size, the bathroom was decorated to a high standard but was missing shelves so toiletries were dotted around on various surfaces that were big enough to stand things on. The shower took a few...

We mistakenly got taken here by the taxi driver as our real hotel/apartment was named similar. The very rude man at the front desk informed us we were mistaken and this was a 4 star hotel and we were not booked in there. Um that's ok I will not recommend anyone stay here and our real hotel was half the...

Fantastic, traditionally Roman hotel yards away from the Pantheon surrounded by dozens of good eateries. Superb location within easy walking distance of all the sites and shops of Rome. Staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Had a great room on the first floor overlooking the hustle and bustle of Via Pastini. Lots of hustle and...

It is very Close to panthenon (only few steps) and other attractions. Good prices. The surroundings are exciting and it is ROME. Been there once... you will go back.

On a busy side street right next to The Pantheon the Hotel Pantheon lives up to expectation. Charmingly dated and unpretentious and not trendy it offers friendly service from cheerful helpful staff, clean accommodation but with few frills. It's so centrally located the area is knee deep in tourists but so is all of Rome for that matter. The bathrooms...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Pantheon is located in an elegant eighteenth-century building in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona, in peaceful surroundings, characteristic of an old pedestrian street. The interior of this small but luxurious Rome hotel is well-cared for down to the finest detail, embellished with special, unique details such as the Liberty-style staircase in wrought iron, the wooden-clad walls, the ceilings with old wooden beams, the Roman terracotta floors, the artistic windows and the trompe-l'oeils decorations on the hall walls. The breakfast room is a charming place, thanks to the light of the Carrara marble and the dome ceiling painted with sky-colored trompe-l'oeil. Intimate and friendly, the Hotel Pantheon offers a relaxing stay for its guests, also thinking of their well-being with their range of high quality, personalized services such as ticket booking for shows and exhibitions, guided tours of Rome and the surrounding area, suggestions on itineraries and places that must be seen and the plentiful hot or cold buffet breakfast. ... more   less
