We had a very pleasant stay at B&B Twice. The location is perfect for visiting Rome: 5 mins walk to the Vatican Museum and 10 minutes to Basilica San Pietro. Metrostation Ottaviano is just around the corner so from there the rest of Rome can be explored. But even by foot you can go to the historical center. The accomodation...

We stayed here for five nights and do not have a single complaint. From the minute we walked through the door e first time, the owner was very lovely and helpful to the minute we left. Firstly, the b&b is very easy to find as it is just off the metro (helpful when you have bags to carry) and only...

We were staying 3 days in Twice in a superior room. It was not just superior but superb. The staff is extraordinary friendly. Antonio is absolutely helpful and kind person, he was very attentive to us. The breakfast is substantial. The location is absolutely perfect, it is between Piazza Risorgimento and Ottaviano metro station, very close to St. Peter Basilica...

We atayed here for two nights. The location is excellent, very close to the Vatican and the city centre is easily accessible by metro. The hosts are very kind and helpful, our room was very clean and modern, equipped with flatscreen and DVD player. The breakfast is simple but fine for this price. This apartment is located a 10 minute walk away from the Vatican museum, on a quiet street just opposite a church. The entrance doesn't look appealing, but as you enter the hall on the second floor you start to feel much better. Our room was very clean with basic equipment. Our bathroom (just across the corridor) was very spacious and...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

“If you're not bothered about sharing a bathroom book the room with the outside bathroom, its a little cheaper and we didn't even end up sharing, it was just outside the room. We ended up staying in an en suite for 3 of our 5 nights as it was available for no extra charge anyway, which was nice of Antonio.”
