My flight to Rome arrived late at night, and at Biancaguilia's host's recommendation, I got a taxi into town, even though I'd booked a room based on its proximity to the train station. (it was a good move). The B&B is housed in an (clean) old building with a lot of vintage appeal, such as the fantastic 1940's style lift....

I was staying this B&B for 5 days with my friends, and we felt very comfortable! Most of all, Pietro was very kind and nice host. He was waiting us in front of the entrance door. If he weren't, I would have spent more time to find B&B. And he gave to me a nice Rome map, explained tour spot...

Everything about this B&B was great: the rooms, the location, the breakfast, but above all, the owners. Pietro was very kind and helpfull; he made us feel at home and gave us good advice about what to visit in Rome and in which order. We can definitely recommend B&B Biancagiulia!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
