The Selene Style Hotel provided juts that. A little strange when booking in, the reception is entered through a door off the street and the hotel entrance is back...

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. We stayed in the deluxe room. It was a tad small but nice decor. The bathroom was nice but we did have problems adjusting the shower temperature. When in use, several times the temperature would change between ice cold and scolding hot! I would say the price was a bit much...

Hotel is near the metro and train station and within walking distance of most of the sights. Rooms very spacious and clean (except for some dust near the window) Great selection at breakfast - cereal, yoghurt, fruit, breads, salad, meats, cheese, eggs, tea coffee and juices! Staff were very friendly - when we arrived the guy at the check in...

It's a minefield booking a hotel in a city with so many hotels however I feel we were very lucky to find this one. The hotel is small which allows a more personalised service. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated but expectedly small. The staff were friendly and happy to arrange bookings or offer recommendations. An easy 5- 10...

This hotel was recommended on TripAdvisor and I am glad I decided to book it. The hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful, the rooms were nicely decorated and clean, and the hotel was close to the Termini train and bus station for easy transit around the city. I will definitely return on my next visit to Rome!

This was my 3rd visit to this hotel, this time we upgraded to a Junior Suite. Plenty of character and good value at 445 Euros for 4 nights plus 32 Euro city tax. Only criticisms were that we could hear someone in the next room snore and there is a small step from bedroom area to bathroom, which I stubbed...

Nice hotel, ideally located a few blocks from the Termini Station.. Clean rooms, free and good breakfast, reasonable price for Rome"s city center. Everything was perfect, except that I forgot my glasses in the room to go and have never been found. But .that does not prevent me from giving this hotel a good note. Will return next trip. Will return next trip.

We stayed here for three nights in November for my birthday. As it was a birthday trip we upgraded and got the 'Deluxe' room as we thought it would have a bath and also because the mini bar was included in the room price. The hotel itself is in a great location - really central (about ten minutes walk to...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
