Stayed for 5 nights at the Hotel Verona with my husband on our first trip to Rome. Hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. Our room was small but the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was plentiful, although no fresh fruit or vegetables but great crousants! The hotel has a pretty outdoor courtyard to...

Hotel Verona is a quaint little hotel with typical European rooms - which means small but comfortable. But, the location is excellent - a short walk to the Termini Station, Coliseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, etc. (Please note, other reviewers may say it is not a short walk, but my husband and I walked to most of the major tourist...

I can't say enough about this hotel. I had never been to Italy before so I had a hard time figuring out which hotel would be best. I wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else! The location was perfect! So close to the Termini and a 8-10 min walk from the Colosseum. The room was so clean! And wonderful! The...

The location is pretty good - it is in walking distance of the train station and the main tourist sites - a good walk mind, not a short walk - similar to a lot of places in the Rome. The hotel itself is good. Our room was on the first floor and faced the street so I was expecting a...

If you don’t mind small rooms and you don’t want to spend fortune for a hotel accommodation, I believe this hotel is for you. It is on a walking distance to Roman attractions from Coloseum to as far as piazza Navona. We had a quad room for 3 days on 4th floor and it was ok. It was clean, it...

We weren't expecting much more from our hotel in Rome other than a base to sleep and leave our things while we went round the city to be honest, so we were pleasantly surprised when we got to the Hotel Verona! We booked it for the location and the price, both of which were excellent, and we expected something basic,...

I have been for three days in this nice hotel very close to the Collosseum so in an great location. I enjoyed the stay very much and want to mention especially the receptionist Laura which was always very freindly and have helped me a lot by explaining the map and easiest ways to see the city. I can only recommend...

Stayed here for a night before a cruise we paid 189 euros through going places. The hotel was very clean and reception staff were very helpful, even calling a taxi company for a quote for a taxi fare.I was a bit dubious when I arrived in the hotel as it was close to traffic but I can assure you when the windows...

Rome was on of those places where we did not have too many expectations with the hotel, and Hotel Verona was what we thought it would be. Small room, small bed and a ok sized, but very odd smelling, bathroom. Free breakfast was ok, (it was free so cannot complain too much). The air conditioner did not work on the...

We stayed in hotel Verona for 3 nights and greatly enjoyed our stay! We had booked our rooms based mainly on the reviews here and were not disappointed! The location is great, a short 5 min walk to the termini station which is safe to do even at night. It's also a comfortable 20 min walk to the colosseum from...
