During my first visit to Rome I stayed at this hotel and was pleased. Coming from America where we are very particular when it comes to "ratings" and "expectations" , I found this hotel to be a great choice for the leisure traveller such as myself. So since I am planning to return to Rome later this year (December), I...

We went to Rome to get married, and had booked 2 suites at Virgilio 6 monhts in advance. When we get there, we only got one suite and the manager told us that we had to wait one day to get the second. After arguing a bit, he told us that the other guests had paid a lot more money...

Dear client, we thank you for your review that outlines the timeliness of our staff that was able to resolve a thecnical mistake in the best possible manner. The reason why we have been able to make available even the second suite is due to the fact that the room was already occupied (for our error and not because somebody...

Just spent 6 nights here with my husband and had a very pleasant stay after reading some bad reviews. Great location just 5 mins from metro and about 20 mins wlk from Trevi and the Colluseum and superb fish restaurant opposite. It was clean and we had a quiet room. The breakfast was fine and the staff provided any additional...

The first thing in this hotel that was strange- prepayment. It was the first in my travelling practice, but now I understand why. I would not come back in this hotel anymore. 1.We ordered a double room for me and my boyfriend, but manager offered us a room which are supposed to be for one person, but they squeeze another bed....

Don't be fooled by the marble staircase and foyer, this hotel is anything but luxurious. This was the only hotel on our 5 week Europe trip that asked for payment upfront, and it didn't take long to see why. Tiny room (even for Europe), carpet not vacuumed, stains on bedspread, wardrobe doors didn't close properly, the wallpaper is peeling off...

Unfriendly staff, not helpful at all,no light in one of the bathrooms(was not fixed during the stay),walls in need of a coat of paint,no hot water the first day, then no heating during the night(in December!!!). Do not book a taxi for airport transfer through the hotel:we did,but the driver was NOT at the airport! Only good thing:location, but I assume there other...

First of all avoid booking triple rooms in this hotel. I booked a triple room, when we arrived it was a twin room with an extra bed thrown in. needless to say there was hardly any space to move around. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, the room was fairly clean, the beds were made each day, towels were...

Clean and tidy hotel in a good location, close to all the sights. Very good continental breakfast that was plentiful, lots of choice and all fresh (the baker delivers every morning). We walked pretty much everywhere except to St. Peter's as that was a bit too far. However we were able to get a sightseeing trip from close by the...

After reading some of the other reviews I was a little bit dubious about staying here - however we needn't have worried at all the hotel was fine, our room was spacious & very clean and had nice hot shower which was the main concern after reading what other people had written!! Hotel itself is in a great location only...
