We booked this Hotel based mostly on its location which was absolutely excellent!! 10 mins from the Trevi Fountain, Collesseum and Termini. We stayed here for 3 nights and definitely would stay here again. Staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast wasn't great, but typical of what you get in most 3 star hotels under "continental breakfast".Towels in hotel were not as bad...

I read a few reviews before booking this hotel but only found the negative ones when I had already booked and paid... I then spent a good few weeks worrying about it. The hotel is situated just a few streets away from Termini Station. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a very courteous and pleasant gentleman...

We picked this hotel based on the location and other reviews. It was pretty close to the Roma Termini and easy to find. The room was decent size and clean. Breakfast was ok not great. The bed was hard, and the pillow too flat. The towel warning was right on; the towels were rough and more like napkins. My major...

The hotel is centrally located. Within walking distance of a number of historical places. We felt very safe walking on the streets. Recently renovated, our room was clean, up to date and had a certain freshness about it. The room was wallpapered in a dark green matting and was a touch ornate but, hey, we were renting the room not...

Stayed at the Hotel Virgilio for 3 nights in August, we were very happy with this hotel, room was a good size but a little bit dark as we overlooked the back of the hotel but very quiet. Breakfast was ok, small breakfast room but we went down at about 9 and never had trouble getting a table. We walked...

We booked this hotel after reading several quite good reviews on Trip Advisor. It makes me wonder if someone connected with the hotel is writing the positive reviews--it was awful. First, they had us pay for three days in advance. We have stayed in hotels all over Europe and have never been asked to do this. Perhaps they have had...

Just back from Rome where we stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Virgilio. It is a nice hotel and the staff was really helpful and friendly. We stayed in a small room on the first night and were moved to a bigger, newer room for the next 2 nights. The hotel is located within walking distance of all of...

We stayed at this hotel for my wife's birthday, for a weekend (Sat/Sun/Mon) and would recomend it to anyone. The Hotel is set in a back street, but do not let this put you off, because it is quieter than staying on the main road. The location is great, we walked everywhere, the staff friendly, courteous, the breakfast normal fayre....

We travelled as a large group to Rome in June 06. We required 3 rooms on 3 separate visits as we used Rome as our base. We were travelling with children as well. The hotel is in a perfect location just off the Via de Nazionale, walking distance to almost everywhere. The only place we required transport to was the...
