Just completed a stay here. Hotel room was very small but it was clean. Breakfast was included but okay. Have to hand in the key when you leave (does not use electric cards). However very central to ancient Rome and to Termini.
Staff were pleasant....More

Thanks for your review, we confirm we fully correspond to the regional standard of 4 stars hotels.
Hotel Viminale is a classic building in Rome, and it is a beautiful sight if you like just that, classical stuff. Since entry, everything is like going to another era, which I personally loved.
I liked the room, the lighting, the terraces on the 4th...More

Thanks for your review and for the suggestions that will help us to offer a perfect stay to our guests.
Horrid! It feels dirty and old. In my room there’s a black stain on my towels I have not used and on my bed cover. There’s gum stuck to one of the ceiling tiles above the wardrobe. The sink clearly has not been cleaned properly...More

Thanks for choosing our hotel and for suggestions about how we could improve the service.
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.

You can take the train to Termini station (Leonardi Express) for 16 euro per person one way or go to Terminal 3 and find outside some buses that go to Termini with 4-6 euro one way per person. From Termini station you can walk to via Cavour until Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, on via Depretis, then turn right, the second Street on your left is via Cesare Balbo.
