Affordable, convenient if this is the part of Rome you want to be in. but that's about it. Rooms are TINY. Most basically just fit the bed and there's no room to open a suitcase or walk around. I had an issue with my room and the manager basically was just shouting at me on the phone, yelling at me...

My son, partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. Our rooms ( a single and a double) had comfortable beds, were bright, clean and spacious enough to accommodate our luggage comfortably. Breakfast was varied and more than adequate. Sweet cakes/pastries were offered as well. The bar offered free appetizers later in the afternoon. The seating areas were cozy. Staff...

Experienced business traveler stayed over for a long weekend with friends and the wife to visit Rome. I was very impressed with this little hotel. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay a good one. The rooms were not large but adequate, nicely furnished and very clean. An excellent breakfast to start the day. the tram is just...

Lovely clean rooms, quite small but who needs a big room when you're in Rome! Our room (108) was extremely hot so we had to keep windows open the entire time, but I wasn't too concerned about this. Breakfast includes homemade cakes/pastries which are excellent. The number 2 tram takes you to Florini - from there, it's very easy to...

This hotel was in a great location with a tram stop a couple of minutes away with access to the piazza del popolo where you can walk to the main tourist spots/catch the train or bus. The rooms were clean and hotel staff were all very friendly. However the room was quite hot and stuffy as the air-conditioning wasnt that...

This was a perfect hotel for my travel group (me, mom, and aunt). While not in the heart of the city, it was easy enough to get to all of the key sites; a quick tram ride and then no more than 2-3 train stops in either direction to Colosseum, Vatican, Spanish Steps etc. If you're feeling adventurous and it's...

Stayed 2 nights. Poor access with multiple steps and doors. Can't see how this place is wheelchair accessible. Friendly reception staff. Tiny lobby and elevator. Probably the tiniest hotel room I've seen anywhere in the world. Room was tidy though. Appalling internet connectivity closer to the main road. Moved to a room close to the reception on the ground floor...

Staying in Flaminio

Neighbourhood Profile
Flaminio
The Flaminio area has been making a name for itself as a hub for contemporary architecture and art. Over the past decade, Flamino’s grassy knolls have seen the rise of cultural centres - amazing feats of architecture like the beautiful Ponte della Musica, the wavy contemporary art MAXXI Museum, and the futuristic Parco della Musica, a music complex where international names perform. Flaminio also has traces of the 1960 Olympic Games with Palazzetto dello Sport and Villagio Olimpico, the athlete’s Olympic village turned residential housing. If culture means a ball and a foot, keep your eye on the prize: Rome’s famed Stadio Olimpico football stadium is just a short walk across a bridge.
