Great location close to Rome Termini, most of the staff helpful. Rooms were always clean, only suggestion would be a jug in room and tea and coffee. In our bathroom our shower head kept falling off needs to be fixed. Only small things to fix. Overall a good stay.

Small nice hotel with below average breakfast, but good wifi and kind bellman. Good for transit, but not so much for sight seeing, hard to find any food around. So probably not the best choice for traveling with kids.

This hotel is centrally located about a 5 minute walk from Roma Termini (Central Rome Train Main Station). The hotel is a little hidden in a small street but it's location makes it very quaint. The rooms are fairly large and the restrooms are recently remodeled and very large and clean. They also have complimentary wi-fi and breakfast. The courtyard...

We literally stumbled into this hotel after another accommodation fell through. The staff was so friendly and helpful and we were able to rent a room that accommodated my husband and myself and our two teenage children very comfortably. If you have a family, ask for room 212, which has a loft and a huge balcony. My husband and I...

The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The location is convenient due to its proximity to termini and you can rent bicycles at Bici Baci near Nationale which is at walking distance - a really fast and pleasant way to see te city! The rooms are a bit dark, the wifi reception in my room...

We stayed recently in a fabulous balcony room at this lovely villa hotel. Close to transport, shops, food etc. staff are helpful. Breakfast was average but in reality european. Pleasant stay, great atmosphere, close to everything and a great garden at the end of the day.

This hotel is minutes from Termini station so very handy for travel. The front desk were very helpful on checking in and throughout our stay, we were given a map on arrival with a few tips on the best mode of transport etc. The room was small and basic but clean and perfectly adequate for what we paid, a mirror...

We gave this hotel a very high score based on it being a good value for the money and a great location, a 5-minute walk from the Termini train station. I had stayed here 10 years ago and am happy that we booked again. We stayed in mid-June in Room 215 for 4 nights. The room was comfortably large with...

We stayed at the Hotel ville delle Rose for 2 nights from 22nd -23rd May and had a fairly ok stay there. We arrived in early hours of morning as flight was delayed and wasn’t overwhelmed by our reception but it was 2am! Had requested a quiet room but did not get one which was very disappointing being woken up...

We recently stayed in Villa Delle Rose Hotel for the second time, this particular time with a group of 16 people and we were all very well looked after. Great location, very close to Roma Termini if you are doing your travelling by train. Lovely, clean rooms and very welcoming & obliging staff who are on duty 24 hours. Terrific...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
