Reviewed yesterday NEW

My husband and I spent four nights at the end of November at the Rose Garden Palace. We were very pleased with the hotel. The location is great - quiet and safe but you are still close enough to walk to many of the major sites in Rome. There is a taxi rank on the corner; the metro is within... More

We enjoyed our 5 night stay in this solid 4 star hotel. 1-Location: Excellent. Located amongst embassies one block away from Via Venneto and directly across the US embassy; it is surrounded by beautiful buildings. The surrounding streets are not filled with tourists and you get a bit of a sense of daily life in Rome without the tour buses.... More

They were very responsive via email before we got to the hotel, making dinner reservations for us and also arranging an airport transfer. What we liked best about the hotel was the location in a quiet neighbourhood close to the Spanish Steps, with a taxi rank just down the street. Nothing is more than a 10 euro ride from the... More

We loved our 1 week stay at the rose garden palace. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain, which was perfect for us, as it wasn't too far away from the hustle, but at the same time not being disturbed by it at night. The hotel itself is really good, it had all the features... More

The staff was very nice however check in and check out is very slow. Be prepared for a 5 course meal and of course you pay for each course. The suites are not what we are use to in America. It just an extra bed in the corner not a true separate room.

I stayed here for 3 nights before a cruise. The morning I walked in Natasha at the front desk addressed me by name and I had not even checked in yet. Very impressive. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
