I arrived in Rome termini at about half ten in the evening, all I had to do was to turn right, I saw the hotel sign straight away and I was able to relax in my room ten minutes later. The hotel receptionist was very friendly and very helpful, he had really good knowledge of local shops, supermarkets, amenities etc...

My friend and I stayed for three nights over a weekend. Check in was easy, the staff member was very heplful in calling the shuttle bus company to retrieve the lost wallet of my friends. Our room was clean and comfortable which is all I ask. The location to Termini was fantastic and was so quiet despite it's location. There...

This hotel was excellent value for money, clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 3 nights and you cannot get a better location as it is 50 metres to Rome Termini which gives you access to Metro line A and B (the only station in Rome that does) as well as a fast train to the airport and also the...

We stayed at Rimini for only one night but everything was perfect. The hotel is located near the Termini station. We thought that this neighborhood will be scary, dangerous and awful, but in fact everything wasn't. Everything about it was perfect: the distance to the station, shops open in the night and a lot of people even at 1AM. Because of...

It wasn't amazing, nor was our stay terrible - very average. Cons - *The lift is just ridiculously small and dusty, it's like playing sardines *The cleaner wandered into our room randomly whilst we were in it twice, apologising profusely in Italian afterwards and backing out - just knock? *Breakfast food was nice but very often out of stock and...

We have stayed in Hotel Rimini twice now and both times have a different types of rooms. The first time we had a smallish room with a very large balcony the second time was a ok sized room with no balcony . But it was no problem. Hotel Rimini is a very basic but clean and tidy Hotel. The staff...

Hotel Rimini is a well-located hotel with very friendly staff. Termini station is 50 m away, but hotel is well sheltered from noise and crowd. Room was clean with large bathroom and air-condition. We even had a little refrigerator in our room (actually, it was empty mini bar), so we were able to keep our own drinks cold. Breakfast is...

This hotel is a good hotel to stay in Rome, it is located within about 2 minutes of Termini station which is handy for getting around directly from the airports by either bus or train and then returning at the end of your trip. The hotel itself is in every way average, rooms, breakfast and cost. There's some cafe's and...

On arrival with my wife and two sons had two rooms booked for 4 nights. On arrival our room smelt strongly of urine the staff accepted that and moved us to another room. Our sons room was fine - both rooms were clean but there was a definite smell in our original room. Next morning although we were on the...

Arrived in Rome very late in the night. We choosed this hotel for the good price and the proximity to Termini station. Everything was must like I supposed to! The night guardmen was a middle aged man who knew his work. He welcomed us very gently despite the very late time, and offered an immediate checkin giving us all the...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
