I won't bother repeating what's already been said, just confirm it. Needs repairs, only cold water, mold. Permanent horrible smell in our room. Never tried the breakfast. Only upside is it's close to termini station which lets you get anywhere.

A very good hotel. Excellent location, near Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore. The room we stayed in was nice, very clean, good bed, small bathroom, but clean and with everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ok, with good coffee, toast,...More

The hotel has both good and bad but I don't think it would warrant a 3, perhaps a 2.5. First the good, location; its a 3 minute walk from central termini train station and being right in the center of Rome you can get anywhere....More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
