If you can, opt for the 5th floor rooms- recently renovated and well in excess of 3 star rating. Breakfast ok and staff helpful. Location in excellent. 5 mins from Termini, towards a better part of town and 5 mins from Republica for metro etc....More

I believe check in time is 2 p.m. You can go by there and check in and leave your bags with them but they may or may not let you in the room. Once for me they did and once they did not.
