We booked a double room for myself and my wife through Expedia travel portal. We learnt that the hotel has an international airport pickup facility for 55 Euros. We were received at the airport and the two of us were ferried to the hotel in a large van by a very well mannered driver. The reception area is a small space... More

Good quiet location in walking distance from the heart of the city. Good size room and very clean. Pizzeria and convenience store right next door (good pizza). We stayed for 1 night but would be a good base for a few nights.

We stayed in this hotel as part of our Italian holiday for three nights. There was a slight problem with our reservation when we arrived due to a mistaken date (not their fault). This was dealt with very quickly and we ended up upgraded to a first class room. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. The hotel is within easy walking... More

The hotel provides a comfortable stay out of the way of the touristy areas of Rome but close enough so that they are easily accessible. The rooms are clean and have all you need as a relaxing space for seeing the city. Staff were friendly and there are good local restaurants near by. Breakfast cost 10 euros per person per... More

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Ranieri in their small double room which was as the name suggested, small, but excellent. A high pressure shower was appreciated and it is well placed with about a 20 minute walk into Trevi and lovely restaurants all around. Staff were friendly and the hotel looked well kept. It is a bit of... More

Great staff, cool old school lift and great rooms. Breakfast was great ( first warm breakfast option id had in a while!), and centrally located. Nice and close to Trevi and a bus stop just across the road, don't forget to buy your day pass to use it! Ps. Don't miss out on the best gelato experience two blocks down... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as part of a 4 part holiday for our anniversary. When we arrived we discovered there had been a mix up with our booking but after a couple of phone calls it was sorted and we were actually upgraded. The hotel is easy to walk to from the train station and is... More

Very friendly staff made this an enjoyable stay for 3 nights. The old style elevator won our hearts. breakfast was substantial and thoroughly delicious served in a clean and friendly setting. Not a large hotel but central to most tourist attractions with good transport nearby. Overall I would stay there again.

I think I say pretty much the same thing each time I stay here - this trip I had 6 nights. I love the location - it's essentially a 10-15 minute walk to wherever you need to go in every direction - Termini, top of the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese. Metro and bus connections are very close by. The rooms... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
