We had stayed in this lovely small hotel a few years ago, so upon returning to Rome, this is where we wanted to stay. Since we were to be in Rome at the beginning and end of our holiday, we booked a double room with breakfast for 3 and then 2 nights. Booking through the hotels website, we also arranged to be picked up from the airport for a rate of €55, which is payable by cash to the driver. This worked very well, as we were arriving at night. Due to the closeness of the hotel to Termini, though, you could easily catch the Leonardo Express from the airport for €14/person. We appreciated the prompt replies regarding specific questions and their easy to use website with immediate confirmation of your booking. The hotel is on the 2nd & 3rd floor. Access is gained by a small lift, of antique cage-like design. Very atmospheric. The design and decor of this hotel made us feel like we were in Rome as opposed to a generic hotel. We received a friendly and welcoming check in & allocated Room 5. A lovely, spacious quiet room with a balcony overlooking an internal courtyard. There is tea/coffee making, wifi can be relied upon, a safe and tv. The bed is very comfortable. The ensuite is spacious too. There is a jacuzzi bath with shower over it. A drying rack also. Plenty of room to put your own toiletries too. Breakfast is in a pretty room on the 3rd floor behind reception. Its served buffet style and is a continental breakfast. This is a well cared for smaller hotel with charming hosts, comfortable rooms in a great location close to transport hubs. Its easy walking distance to many of the sites tourists & close enough to walk to Termini, metro & bus station. We subsequently needed to cut short our holiday, & they have a no fuss easy cancellation system on their website. We recommend staying here if you like smaller hotels.

My family of four stayed in a family room here for one night before we took a train to Florence. The beds were soft and comfortable, the room was quiet, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. I was particularly impressed with the beautiful marble bathroom, which I was not expecting for the price of the accommodation! We found a surprisingly good and inexpensive pasta restaurant around the corner in the evening. We walked with our luggage to the train station in less than ten minutes the next morning. Highly recommend for stays in this area.

Amazing small hotel, so clean, friendly and centrally located! Breakfast was included and very good. Metro just round the corner. Fabulous old world lift! Couldn't ask for more and would definitely return.

I have stayed here twice, once before a cruise out of Rome and once after a cruise. I plan on staying here in May before my cruise to Venice. this place is perfect in all ways. The service is superior and everyone is welcoming. The breakfast is delicious and sets you up for your day. Location is perfect for getting around Rome either from a Hop and Go bus to the metro. I would highly reccomend this lovely hotel.

This hotel is a Rick Steves recommendation close to Termini station. Spent 6 nights and highly recommend it! The hotel is a close walk from Termini, which is the main train station where you'll come into Rome from the airport. The area feels safe and nice, and finding the hotel was no problem. You ring the bell at the door and the hotel is located on two floors of the building. Check-in was easy and we got into our room right away at 11:00 a.m. on a Sunday, which was really nice because when you arrive in Europe early morning you frequently have to wait for hours to check in. Front desk staff were all outstanding: friendly, helpful, excellent English. The room was also excellent: large by European standards, high ceiling, and very nicely appointed. Two things deserve special mention: the bed was the most comfortable we've ever had in Europe. Many hotel beds there tend to be rock-hard, but this was almost as nice as our bed at home and we slept very well. And most importantly, the room was extremely quiet. We asked for a quiet room and ours was located on an interior courtyard, so we heard no street noise and we heard no noise from other guests. Perfect! I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.
