a central hotel near to Termini, and just 300 m.from metro station REBUBLICA. AT 20 m.you can find a lot of bus stops(euro 1,50 per 100').At 400 m.you find the Piazza Barberini (Metro station) and the start of the famous Via Venetto with lots bars and tratorias. The area is very safe. The hotel room is very clean, but small....

The location is great - right by piazza republica and 3 minutes from the metro. There is a supermarket and a few restaurants near it. The hotel itself is cute and quiet. It's inside a business building, but has it's own compounds on each floor. It's old but well maintained. The staff is happy to help with every question. The rooms...

The Embassy hotel is a fab budget hotel. Also very Italian. All the staff were lovely. The rooms are clean, if somewhat dated, ours was quiet and sufficient as a base for us to explore Rome from. The hotel is near to the Via Vaneto and has places to eat, drink, buy fresh food from, plus the main bus route...

THE ROOM Our room had no carpet, which we liked. The furnishing is (obviously) quite old, but still in a good condition. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom is rather small, but it worked for us as a couple and for our stay of only three nights. The room wasn't that big either but really clean. We didn't spend much time...

The hotel is very near Termini station, but also near the metro station Republica. You can walk on Nazionale street or get a bus and you will find the most beautiful place, Piazza Venezia. We were on a budget but we liked the hotel, even if the room was a little small and facing the breakfast room. The room was...

If your budget is a bit tight, but you still want to be near the most important sights in Rome, then hotel Embassy is a good choice. It s a five minute walk to the spanish steps and the room was comfortable, if a bit small.

We were a party of 11 who travelled to Rome over the New Year, arriving on the 31st December. First we had an apartment booked, but the people let us down so thankfully while packing we found this hotel. We paid well over the normal rate but had no choice but to take it. This hotel is by no means...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
