After the chaos of arriving in Rome, arriving at this hotel was refreshing. We found the location to be fairly convenient. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk (over flat terrain) from the Lepanto Metro station, and it is also about a 10 minute...More

quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

Did not notice any smoking in the hotel, but there was a very, very strong odor of smoke in the rooms. At the very least, the wallpaper, and curtains have absorbed the smoke smell to the point that a complete renovation would be required to eliminate it. We enjoyed the hotel otherwise, but if you have a strong allergy, I would book elsewhere.
