Great location. Old building with common areas with charming antique decora, but rooms have not been upgraded ( a/c , bathrooms etc) The front desk did not respond when complaining about a leaking toilet for several hours so we have to pack and change rooms in the middle of the night Breakfast was good

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Plaza from the 3/9/12 to the 6/9/12 and couldn't be more pleased with it. The satying there was beyond expectations - the delicious breakfast, the amazing staff (ALWAYS kind) and the great overall feel everyone gives you. The reception staff were very accommodating. I more than recommend it!

This hotel is in a great location, however, it's not the only one. There are others. It's not cheap at all so one would expect a certain standard. To start with, we were given a room where the AC was not working and the water pressure on the shower was very poor due to lots of plaque in the shower...

Dear Customer, We thank you for your comment also because the same comment gives us the opportunity to make some clarifications. Ours is not only a hotel located in the historical centre, but it is also an “historical” hotel subordinated, for some of its parts, to the bond of the Superintendence. Who decides to be a Guest in our structure...

I stayed here on two separate occasions while in Rome recently and had a great experience. I admit, the hotel is old and obviously some parts of it have seen better days but the ground floor..........WOW and it's in a fantastic location, not even a 5 minute walk from the Spanish steps My room was spacious, the bathroom was big...

When reading through various reviews before booking this hotel i noticed a very big spectrum in opinions ranging from horrible to great. Our experience was great. It is certainly true that this is not a 5 star hotel of latest standards. This fact is compensated by the place's grandeur, the fabulous interiors and the size of the room. The location...

we read the reviews about the air conditioners being a let down in the heat of july. our travel advisor gave us candid advice on the location being great, the hotel being a nice heritage property (and that meant challenges such as bathrooms without a lock on the door)! THE REVIEWS AND ADVICE IS DAMN RIGHT ! we saw 3...

Don't be fooled by the website of this hotel. We checked in during July in blistering heat. When we arrived in the room we noticed the air conditioning was not working. The rooms generally were tired and unkept. The staff said they would send someone to look at the air conditioning. When we returned from dinner the problem was not...

I have just spent three days at Grand Hotel Plaza, Via del Corso in Rome. The hotel is splendid with an amazing staircase, totally marvellous decorated ceilings. The lounges downstairs were cosy. There was access only to one internet point, though there is another set on a desk nearby but it doesn't work. There was a queue for it. When...

I arrived in Rome this past Sunday, July 15th from NY to celebrate my mother's 80th Birthday and take her on her dream vacation. Location for the sights perfect and all sights within walking distance! Room 408 junior suite was amazing with the biggest balcony ever. Decor breathtaking and we were invited to enjoy playing their grand piano in the bar after just cheekily asking. Great staff too. Just wish breakfast was in tune with everything else. It wasn't bad, just more 3 star...
