This is a lovely hotel and without a doubt the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. It was immaculate! The view is incredible, and the location is perfect for Rome. You are in the middle of everything with a stunning view of the Pantheon, it’s as good by night as by day. The bed is comfortable and the hotel has excellent attention to detail and offerings - wine or water when you arrive, a concierge to help with moving belongings etc. there is also an Italian phone you can use during your stay, this makes life a lot easier and you don’t need to chase WiFi/signal. The breakfast is fine (although the coffee was excellent) - you leave the hotel and go to a cafe round the corner with a voucher. You can have fruit/cornflakes/toast etc. a couple of things… they did forget to bring parts of our order a couple of times, we were rushing so didn’t chase to be fair, also the water in the toilets was never on when we were there to wash hands, also the eggs were very runny - to taste some days but not eatable for me one day. This might be fine for some but I guess I can gripe. I rate this 5 stars but there are a few things that aren’t 5 star… despite the cleanliness bits of the room were a bit in need of repair - damage so to speak. Also, there was no lift when we stayed, not the end of the world but a bit annoying as the place isn’t cheap (hopefully walking 4 flights of stairs twice a day helps counteract the gelato)… All in all though we were delighted with our time here and are just reviewing honestly. It isn’t perfect but the room was spacious, impeccably clean and with an amazing view right in the middle of Rome surrounded by food, drink, music and activities, so it doesn’t get much better really!

Nice hotel in a central location to walk to most everywhere you would want to visit as a tourist. We stayed in a nice newly refurbished junior suite. The included breakfasts were at a restaurant a short block away. They were very good. One bit of warning; the lowest level of the elevator is one flight up from the lobby. That wasn't a problem for us, but it may be for someone who won't/can't walk up a flight of stairs.

We had a lovely time during our stay. HIGHLIGHT The view of the Pantheon from the room is magnificent. The Albergo Abruzzi is at walking distance from all the monuments and places you would like to see, the room we had was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was included and is in a restaurant nearby with an excellent food and service. The front desk staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, welcome us with a bottle of Prosecco in the room and some biscuits. The free phone helped to get around with google. I definitely will go again and recommend it to my friends and family.

Dear Guest, thank you very much for your kind review! We are very glad to hear that your stay at our Hotel was excellent in all the aspects. All the rooms in the main building have direct Pantheon view from their windows and Junior Suites are the largest and most comfortable ones we have. The breakfast in served in a local restaurant very near by the hotel from 7:30 to 10:30 every morning and our staff will scort you and show you everything you need to know. The front desk is open 24 hours and we are always glad to help the guests with directions, suggestions and anything else they might need. Each room is provided with a smartphone that you can use and bring with you around the city during your stay, it includes italian SIM card and free unlimited internet connection and free international calls as well. The hotel is in an old building right accross from the Pantheon, so the excellent location, with many places to eat and drink around. The rooms are a little small, but the main issues were : the access via a very small and slow elevator that you can only catch on the first floor and another problem was the bedding. The mattresses would need renovation and the shower is small. People at the reception are nice but don't have a lot of advice for good places to eat.

Good location in center of Rome, with view of Pantheon. Within walking distance to Historic Roman forum, Trevi fountain and many other sites Rome is somewhat chaotic, but the hotel staff customer service was top notch. Fantastic, personal service rarely found nowadays.

I don't think I would revisit this hotel. The location is central and incredibly convenient (provided you want the crowds in the piazza in front of the Pantheon). And, our room had an amazing view of the Pantheon. But, the hotel was somewhat disappointing. No mention that you have to climb a flight of stairs before the elevator is available (so not accessible for those with limited mobility). The hallway outside of our room smelled like smoke and/or mildew. The elevator was one of the slowest and scariest I've encountered in many travels. The shower was tiny and didn't drain properly. The staff were kind, though, and on the day before our departure they gave us an early breakfast to take away for our early morning flight.

Wonderful location just across from the Pantheon. Quaint and quiet, yet lively evenings. Room was cozy and very clean. Staff is amazing. Request a room on the first floor if you don’t like tiny elevators! We will be back again next year.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Abruzzi in late August 2023 for two nights before hopping on a cruise. We LOVED the hotel!!! We were in a junior suite and could look out on the Parthenon from our window. I've never had a more amazing view from a hotel room. The location is perfect, you can walk to most of the popular sites in Rome within a 20 minute walk from the hotel. We were maybe a 10 minute cab ride to the Vatican. The hotel was very clean and the room and bed were so cozy and comfortable, and the A/C was nice and cold. We found the staff to be friendly and very helpful with tips on places to eat, as it was our first time in Rome. They gave great advice on nearby coffee shops, the best gelato to enjoy, and dinner locations to try. We enjoyed the breakfast that was included with the room at a restaurant just around the corner. We highly recommend Hotel Abruzzi! The picture we included was taken maybe 100 feet from the hotel, it's unreal how close you are to the Parthenon.

The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The square was noisy but inside it was very quit. We slept great. The breakfast is at a Cafe around the corner. It was very good and lovely to sit outside. There was many sites in walking distance a taxi stand across the square. Would book again.
