I stayed about 4 nights in this place and would say even though the hostel in itself is not that great, the bar is a great place to hangout at night. The staff is also quite friendly at the reception, but elsewhere it was not that great.

Hey Rishav, Thanks so much for your review. We are sorry you are not 100% satisfied with the hostel facilities. We were under construction during the last month and we just opened a new reception with large common areas, garden, concierge-bar. We hope you will give us another chance in the future. Thanks again for staying at The Yellow. All...

Small, quite, clean and spacious, I know I contradicted myself but it is perfect. Value cannot be beaten, staff is friendly and the location is really great. I would recommend if you just need a place to sleep and keep your bags safe. Pizza shop nearby and small grocery store as well.

Stayed here for a few nights at the end of April this year. First things first the staff seemed so unahppy to be there, I don't know if it was the weather or whatever but the one staff member who took us too our room was the most unenthusiastic human on the planet that afternoon. It was a little annoying...

Located 5 minutes walk from termini, easy to find. Check in was smooth and rooms were clean however pillow and mattress were soft. Had small locker in room, useful for small items. Toilet shared between many dorm rooms, very small cubicles and inconsistent water pressure on 5th floor. Noise from bar downstairs can be heard late at night. Overall this...

I stayed at the Yellow a couple times for one night each. The first time was in a room without a bathroom and the second time was a room with the bathroom. Both rooms were alright. Clean enough, beds were OK, staff was friendly. Oddly enough, the bathroom outside the room was cleaner than the one in the room... But...

It was a good hostel, kinda bothered that I didn't have any flooring in the room and hallway only cemented floor, the elevator was slow but the staff was helpful and very friendly, good wifi and location, overall good value for money, take a towel and a cover for the blanket

So I came here for a few days and I can say for sure the place is very clean spacious and fun. They have a bar downstairs and club below it. They constantly have something for travellers to do. There is a lounge room to chill out and a kitchen to make whatever you need. The rooms are clean and...

I stayed here with friends and really liked it. Had enough space in the rooms for all of our bags in the room. The beds were comfy and it the lighting in the rooms were good. The hostel is close to lots of restaurants and bars and overall has a great vibe. Would recommend for young people.

I had booked the six bed superior en suite female only dorm. When I arrived they said I had a 'free upgrade' to a four bed room. As nice as this as, I am not sure I would call it an upgrade as I entered the room wondering what would I have had to book to get the modern rooms...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
