Comfortable, convenient location. very modern bath room and shower. Buffet breakfast on the terrace. Very helpful to early arrivals from overnight flights from the U.S. Very good location for walking +/- 35 minutes easy walk to Vatican city. Lots to see and lots of dining and shopping close by.

We stayed here in August and were disappointed with the hotel for a few reasons. Our main concern was the amount of birds walking across the tables, etc at breakfast, on the roof terrace which meant that you had to 'guard' your food and also be careful as to where you sat, due to there being bird mess on the... My wife and I stayed here after a 12 days cruise in the Aegean sea. The staff were very warm and helpful. We had a corner room and it had a great walkout terrace. The hotel was clean and it provided breakfast (Italian style- coffee, pastries). The hotel was walking distance to the Spanish steps and most other attractions.

This Hotel has so much to offer to the traveler. Its staff will make you feel at home. Victoria is there to make sure that you are well taken care of. The roof top garden is a beautiful setting for breakfast every morning. The rooms are very clean and are good sizes. The air conditioning is a wonderful plus. I... More

I stayed here for five nights in July 2016, and very pleased with my choice. It's always hard to know what to expect when booking online, but this hotel exceeded all expectations. The double room was spacious, and was perfect. The location was ideal- I couldn't imagine being happier in another area, as this was so close to everything! The... More

Just steps away from Via Corso and centrally located, this boutique hotel was the perfect place to stay to explore Roma. Our room appeared to be recently updated with a nice size bathroom and awesome shower. We looked forward every morning to the complimentary breakfast in the roof top garden terrace. Great selection of pastries, breads, and other breakfast staples.... More

Fabulous stay at the San Carlo Hotel, my husband and I started our two week vacation at the San Carlo and ended our trip back there. We couldn't have found a better place to stay, I highly recommend it, the staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Breakfast is outstanding on the veranda and the location is one of the best.

Fantastic stay at the San Carlo hotel, would definitely recommend staying there if you are planning a trip to Rome. The room was very clean, spacious and modern and the staff couldn't do enough for you! Brilliant location, within walking distance to all popular attractions and only 10 mins away from the metro station which is also very easy to... More

Nestled near the Spanish Steps, this hotel is perfectly situated to access all of Rome, either on foot or by a taxi they are more than happy to order. We had a snafu with our reservation the first day and they immediately fixed the issue. Hotel was comfortable (the air conditioning was particularly welcome) and clean. Nice size bathrooms. And... Our room was fantastic and I do not think it was the best that they had to offer. Air conditioning that really worked, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and a rood top eating/lounge area. Our room overlooked a courtyard/alley that had vines and pretty flowers growing all up the walls. Breakfast was standard continental fare, but the staff was gracious and... More
