The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. The area is loaded with restaurants and it is great area to walk. I had stayed at the hotel 2 years ago and enjoyed my stay so much that we returned.

The hotel is near the Santa Maria Piazza and was a great location for exploring Trastevere as well as walking to the major sites. Room was decent size and breakfast included was basic but fresh. Coffee made to order. Helpful front desk staff. Highlight was the neighbourhood with its abundance of restaurants, vibrant night life and boutique shops.

Would definitely stay here again. Great location to shops, restaurants and church plaza. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Generous continental breakfast included--delicious coffee and I'm not a coffee drinker! Thank you

The staff was helpful. Enjoyable, neighborhood location. Nice walk to the Vatican along the river. Can also walk to many other sights. Breakfast was good. It is not a luxury hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. Great hospitality!

Our room was fairly spacious for Europe, and it was in a great location. Quiet and we were able to walk everywhere. The staff were nice and very helpful.So-so breakfast. Several good restaurants were nearby. We will stay here again.

Seems like a decent budget hotel in an excellent location in Trastevere. It's more motel than hotel, the breakfast was terrible. They did not have water or any beverages at the hotel (or they were out). The wifi was so so!! The rooms and bathrooms are clean but small. I had a lot of communicated with the hotel about payment... The hotel is clean and the rooms are big for European standards. It is in a great neighborhood location 20 min walk from Vatican and 30 min walk to the Colosseum, though you can also catch a bus there. The staff were very friendly and they do have a luggage storage service while you may wish to be out and... More

We were able to stay at Hotel Trastevere after having problems where we originally booked, and were really happy. We had one of the larger rooms which even with our babies cot, pram and luggage still had plenty of space to move around. Staff were really friendly and patient with our 1 year old, and the room was clean, comfortable... More

A Modest smaller room but clean and adequate You have control over the heating or cooling of the room. They have great staff who's all spoke enough English to assist and we're always ready ready to help. Also a good location to some really great restaurants and shopping. Not that long a walk to The Vatican. Would stay there again.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
