On the positive side, the hotel is in a great location, the room and bathroom were shabby but a good size and clean. The breakfast was perfectly adequate although the booking system was a nuisance. On the negative side, the bed was the hardest I have ever encountered and worst of all, there was no air conditioning when the temperature...

Vile rooms, wouldn't put my worst enemy to stay the night here. Have to carry your suitcases up many flights of spiral steps yourselves. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Don't stay here if you want any kind of quality stay

Great clean place and very reasonable. The breakfast is good but there is no elevator. Close to everything you want to see in Italy and the nightlife nearby is great. The area near by was safe and is located 10 minutes walk from colosseum and the fountain.

If you don´t need anything special, but just the basic of all basic hotels, take Hotel Arenula. Rooms are even little bit bare, but situation is one of the best in Rome, in the middle of Ghetto, near Trastevere.

Terrible hotel, no lift, needed to carry 23kg bag up two floors on winding staircase. Room noisy all night, mattress and pillows hard as rock, and breakfast in a cramped room where you are marshalled in and out in 30 minute stints. Ok for backpackers, but for anyone else forget it. We did not choose this place but when our...

The location of the hotel is perfect- walking distance from virtually everything. The rooms are OK. Breakfast is OK but a bit special as the breakfast room is so small that that you have to "book" your breakfast time the day before.

Very pleasant stay, but breakfast is very very basic. Two bread rolls and coffee. The towels were awful too - paper thin and not very comfortable. Beds were nice, and staff very polite though, very willing to help throughout!

I overnighted in this hotel fr a couple of nights and i should say about: Very good located in the center of Rome and just opposite Trastevere, just crossing the river. Basic Hotel but at least you have all what you need. Poor breakfast and it should book the table in advance which is not good since i felt a...

Excellent location, within walking distance of all the major attractions. Room was a bit cold, even with heater on. The towels were paper thin so take your own! Breakfast was fast and filled us up ready for the day. Staff friendly enough.
