The hotel is 15 minutes walk from Via Del Corso, the main shopping street and right next to the metro. The style is very classic and Italian, and cozy. The Wi-Fi works very well. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the airport shuttle service is good. Only one problem though : the A/C seemed to always be on...

Last minute booking here due to being cancelled by another hotel that is top rated on trip advisor. A very fortuitous event in the end. Small hotel in an old palazzo with a fabulous rooftop breakfast overlooking St Peters Basilica and the Vatican! Easy walking distance to many areas and underground train station around the corner! Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Farnese. The hotel itself is a 15 minute walk from the Vatican Museum and about the same to Piazza del Popolo. It is a small Hotel and it was quiet despite our window opening to a bigger road. We really enjoyed being a bit further from the crowds of Corso and the Inner...

We spent in Hotel Farnese 7 nights. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. Driver, who took us from the airport, receptionist, who were very kind and helpful, and women from the breakfast room - she had always big smile and she prepared amazing cappuccino! Food was delicious, fresh. Room was clean and every day service cleaned it....

Located on the Vatican side of the Tiber River, Hotel Farnese is a most convenient place to stay when touring Rome. A quick walk to the Lepanto train station, gets you a ride to any major attraction in the city. A 20-minute walk to St. Peters Square lets you spend most of the day touring the Vatican sites. From the moment we walked past the huge planted urns at the steps through to reception, we knew this was going to be a great experience. Reception staff were the very best of professionalism- helping with every query without hesitation. Our upgrade to the only top floor room with a huge rooftop terrace was such a surprise. Lovely views of...

Loved our stay here. This lobby is beautifully decorated, the rooms are comfy with big windows that open onto a gorgeous street. And the breakfast on the rooftop is delicious and so charming! Loved it. Only suggestion would be update the decor in the bedrooms to be just as charming as your lobby!!

This lovely hotel in the Prati district is perfectly situated on a quiet street yet only a short walk from excellent restaurants and shops. There are bus and metro stops on the adjacent streets, or a 15-minute stroll will take you to Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican or, in the opposite direction, across the Tiber to Piazza del Popolo. Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
