Family of 4 (2 male students) stayed at the Hotel for 5 nights (2 rooms). The Hotel is very close to all major attractions as it is close to the Spanish Steps. The rooms were clean and tidy and newly refurbished. Our room on the 3rd floor had a funny smell to it and they moved us immediately. They are...

Unbeatable location (around the corner from Spanish steps). Nice room, though very small. You'll walk all day in Rome so this is all you need -- a comfortable bed to collapse in. The cafe on the first floor made the best espresso drinks I've had :-) There was some construction going on out front but the windows did a reasonable...

This place is a great value. In a town where hotels are ridiculously expensive, this one was a gem. 4 stars, and worth it. We paid about 120 euros, which for this time of year was a steal. Hotel location is prime for Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, and shopping and food. It is on an alley, like most hotels, and...

Stayed a couple of nights at Homs hotel with two friends - it was challenging to find rooms in Rome that would accomodate three people... this property was available, affordable, and advertised a triple rate. We booked an "executive triple", but upon arrival it seemed more like a nice double with a rollaway bed added in the corner. The room...

To put this whole thing into context, the elavator was the nicest room we saw! The bedroom was barely bigger than the bed iteself. Even the porter wouldn't enter the room! He carried our luggage to the door and then let us in, once we were inside we saw there would not have been enough room for the three of...

We booked one room thru Expedia and another room thru the Hotel Website. Both turned out great! Prior to our trip, after reading all other negative reviews, we were worried. At one point, we thought of cancelling the reservation but we are glad that we did not. It turned out better than expected. The location was excellent! Easy access (walking...

I stayed at the Homs for three nights this week and after some apprehension from other reviews about renovation going on, I was happy to find that it is either finished or well hidden. The hotel is on a small street a few minutes walk from Piazza di Spagna (the Spanish Steps) so the location is near perfect. If you...

My husband and I (57 and 56 years old, married for 35 years) stayed at the Homs May 15, 16 and 17. Excellent location. Has just been renewed. Very clean and new. Rooms are small, but very neat. Bathroom is brand new and very very clean. Also very small. At the reception Elias was specially helpful. The rest of the...

Best thing about this hotel is the location, as you are in walking distance of all of Rome's attractions. The rooms are small but perfectly formed, just right for a weekend break. The hotel is currently being redecorated, but this didn't affect us (in fact, our room was newly decorated with a shiny new bathroom). I'd certainly recommend this hotel.

DON'T SYAY THERE. DON'T GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS because they might use your credit card for extra-charges! I made the mistake of giving them my credit card details. I made a reservation for three days, cancelation policy 24 hours in advance, I went there and stayed for only one night (mentioning from the begining), they said ok and after...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
