The hotel is located in Testaccio, just around the "colle dei cocci" and in front of Macro Testaccio. It is about 1km far from the metro B. My room was very large, with a balcony and a small kitchen too, due to the fact that the hotel also works as residence for long period. The personnel was kind and professional....

We spent 6 nights in this hotel, I was conferencing, my partner enjoyed exploring Rome. The hotel is simple not luxurious, but had everything we needed and was excellent value for money. It is near metro and train and there are many excellent places to eat within a short walk. It was clean, the reception staff were friendly and helpful,...

We stayed 4 nights. It was a good place. The metrostation Pyramide can be reached by foot so the location is just perfect. They even had a kitchen without any pots or fridge in my room. We didnt use it but nice to have. The room was kept very clean during our stay and the big balcony was definitely a...

I stayed at the Re Testa for nine nights with my son. I love this hotel. It is located in Testaccio, a much less touristy area of Rome, but close enough to everything and full of great restaurants. First of all, I want to thank the kind, patient, and helpful reception staff. They were always warm and eager to help...

The Re Testa is a very comfortable and modern hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. When showed to our room, we noted that it was very clean and allowed access to a number of facilities including Free Wifi, Air Conditioning and a Room Safe. We also had access to our own personal veranda. Although we did not spend much...

Re Testa is located in Testaccio, a nice, vibrant neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants. The closest metro station Piramide is only a ten minute walk away but you can easily reach all the main attractions by foot. Re Testa has a very modern feel. The rooms are spacious and clean, neatly decorated in black and red. Each room has a...

This hotel is placed in the Testaccio nearby monte dei cocci. A piece of real Rome. It is adjacent to the old abattoir now a market and event space. The hotel has a strange configuration without lobby and bar. Common space is limited to a terrace ( hope it doesn't rain). Breakfast is served in a bar nearby. You need...

I've stayed at this hotel for a night as I was on a business trip, the room was clean, had enough space and offered microwave, small stove and fridge. I was on the inside part so didn't have a huge view but had a nice terrace. The only thing that really bothered me was the old cigarette smell, I guess...

Well rooms are very nice and modern. Nice location with a market right next door and Trastevere a nice walk away. Stayed in Room 24 and 38 on different nights. Not so good situations: 1. Both rooms had problems with the AC, we left them on only to find our room extremely hot on both occasions. Had to open the...

Very nice, modern room. Excellent location only a short bus or train to all major sites. Definitely could have charged more. Super cute restaurant across the street with amazing take away pizza for €6 for when you are too exhausted from sight seeing to eat out. Highly recommend.

Staying in Testaccio

Neighbourhood Profile
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
