We stayed at this hotel for the duration of 4 nights and overall are satisfied with it. The place is near enough to Termini station, Piazza Republica and Piazza Barberini. The room that was given to us was clean, big enough and with good view. The beds were made each day and the room + bathroom cleaned. Central heating was...

I lived in southern Italy for almost a year, during which I had to regularly commute back to the USA (April 2013 - January 2014) -I stayed here 5+ times -It is small, with a communal bathroom, clean, affordable, and safe (coming from a woman traveling alone) -As with all big cities, especially Rome, the neighborhood around the train station...

We stayed at Hotel Nardizzi Americana from 21/10-24/10 and we had a very nice stay. The first impression with the elevator can be shocking as you would expect a reception when you enter building but if you are patient and go up you will see a very nce clean hotel with VERY friendly staff. It is exactly what you need for a...

This is the forth time I've stayed in this hotel. I love the location but the staff is amazing. I had a health problem while staying there and they went above and beyond expectations and helped me through my troubles. I'll never stay anywhere else when in Rome. Thank you Nardizzi!!

Our family of five stayed here for end of our trip to Italy. The hotel staff is welcoming and friendly. Our family enjoyed everything about this hotel! The style, location, the people, the rooms.... the whole atmosphere was everything we were hoping for. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located near one of the Metro stations, as well as a main street with bus routes. Free breakfast was very great with bid choice of backed goods and unlimited cappuccino. On the down side the mattresses very quite hard and the sleep wasn't restful. For some reason there never was hot water in the shower after...

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel reception is on the 4th floor. (Something new for us!). Room was dark but clean, and had character. Vincent (staff member) couldn't do enough for you. He helped with our next trip to naples and spoke excellent English answering all of our awkward and many questions. Fresh towels and clean room both mornings....

In today's day and age when you can do research from your phone, good wifi is a necessity. Especially when you are on vacation trying to plan your next day's activities. The wifi here was so spotty and would go out every couple of minutes. Needless to say it had me upset a few times. Regardless of the Internet it's...

The room we stayed was really big. The beds were comfy. The pillows were too soft. No refrigerator. WC had a shower roof. The a/c system was old type. The plugs next to the beds don't work to charge your phone, if you haven't turned on the light which is connected to them. The wardrobe was quite big and it...

Loved them! It's not really a 5-star room, but it's air conditioned and you have a private bathroom if you ask for it. The front desk service is 24hr and so friendly and helpful! Free wifi/breakfast make it a great value since it is so affordable already. Would stay again for sure!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
