A splendid example of late 1800's Art Nouveau style set like a jewel in the centre of the Capital. Situated a few steps away from the Termini Train Station, the Villa Borghese Gardens and the charm of the renowned Via Veneto, the Hotel Alpi provides the perfect setting for a stay in Rome. Relax on the sunny terrace! Great buffet breakfast. Warm Italian hospitality since 1963.

Me my partner visited Rome for the first time and this hotel made our experience even more fascinating and unique!
Every member of staff from reception, room service, cleaning and kitchen staff they were all extremely nice and professional always with a smile! The room facilities and the cleanliness were one of the best I have ever seen as well as the buffet breakfast with all these delicious options ideal for everyone no matter what your preferences are on breakfast. Very good location right next to the central train(Termini) and coach station. Loads of small cafes ,restaurants and beautiful sights within a few minutes walk away..
Highly recommended hotel and we are definitely coming back again!!!

A very centrally located hotel. The walk to roma termini was less than 5minute walk to the hotel which meant that travelling via the metro was very easy and accessible.

The colosseum, Trevi fountain, Roman forum and pals time hill are also around a 30min walk from the hotel so great for those wanting to explore.

The service was impeccable and I could not fault them. The staff were friendly and approachable throughout our stay.

When arriving at the hotel, our flights had changed and we were early for check-in. The staff were very accommodating and had our room ready within 30mins. We were also upgraded free of charge to a room with a balcony which was a lovely touch.

The room itself was perfect. Clean and tidy with great amenities. The bathroom was renovated to a very high standard and the balcony was a great additional touch.

Breakfast was very reasonable price for a great selection of food. Fresh orange juice and pastries were amazing. The service in the breakfast room was second to none.

A supermarket is just outside the hotel as well which meant for us, who were trying to keep costs lower, a cheaper lunch to eat whilst we were out was easily accessible.

Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and recommend to friends.

This was our second visit to the hotel having stayed in 2019. We took advantage of the special deal available following covid and stayed a week from 30 August 2020. We upgraded to a delux room on the fourth floor which had a sunny balcony, a good view and lots of space. The air-conditioned room was immaculate and the breakfasts on a tray to our room were a work of art. We also had a lovely breakfast on the terrace with our daughter and her partner who also stayed for a few days. It is a family run team and they did a wonderful job in getting the hotel up and running in what must be very difficult times. Laura is so helpful as are the other staff. The location is excellent being a short walk from Termini and very close to Piazza Indipendenza and lots of restaurants and bars and historical attractions. Antother fabulous trip to this great city and super hotel.

We stayed only one night, after arriving from Canada and before departing for exploration of the Amalfi Coast, Sicily, and Naples. There are (obviously!) a lot of hotels in Rome, many of which seemed too expensive for me, and I had a lot of trouble choosing one. I am SO glad I finally settled on Hotel Alpi. It was everything we needed/wanted. Because we were heading out by train the morning after our arrival, being close to the station was a priority. We could reach Alpi on foot in ten minutes or less but it was far enough away from the station to feel like we were in a real neighbourhood. The young man on the front desk, whose name I failed to get, was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Our room (319) was lovely, spacious, and very comfortable. It had an area with sofa and desk set apart from the bedroom, as well as excellent closet and storage space. The bed was very comfortable and the lighting was good. Air conditioning was easy to manage and worked well. There was a little balcony/patio area adjoining the room which, unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy much. The bathroom was spacious and stylish with both a tub and a separate shower. The toiletries and towels were very nice, and there was plenty of space to put our own toiletries. Best of all, the room was wonderfully quiet and dark ensuring a good night’s sleep for jet-lagged North Americans. I thought it was good value and would without hesitation recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have just returned from our stay at the Alpi Hotel. It completely exceeded our expectations. Exceptionally clean and situated in a handy part of town close to the metro. The room we had was big with a lovely balcony, bathroom, safe and mini bar. The AC was good and very welcome with the 38dgs heat!
Breakfast was served on the terrace and was well worth the money, all the hotel staff were incredibly friendly, in particular the gentleman who served and breakfast who was super sweet!
The area around the hotel felt very safe and I felt happy to walk home at night even just being myself and teenage daughter.
I would highly recommend this cute, friendly hotel for families and those looking for a traditional, friendly but modern hotel.

Our family (two adults and two teens) stayed eight nights at Hotel Alpi in one of their family rooms. We had a great experience.

Pros:
1) The front desk staff is awesome – all speak English and are incredibly helpful in answering questions, making suggestions, and calling a cab. The hotel lobby is staffed 24 hours a day.
2) The family room we stayed in was large. We had a king bed and asked that the other bed be divided into two twin beds.
3) The room is well equipped – expresso maker, hot water kettle, hair dryer, safe, fridge, and an amazing amount of storage space for clothes and luggage
4) The room was spotless clean – it was cleaned every day
5) The breakfast buffet includes croissants, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal, coffee, cappuccino, etc. There is something for everyone. On New Year’s Day, they provided champagne as part of the breakfast. We ate breakfast at the hotel on three of our eight days – on other days, we ate at other pastry shops.
6) Lots of restaurants nearby. I would recommend Ristorante Pinseria Al 39 da Massimo (Italian), Inka Chicken (Peruvian), and Saravanaa Bhavan (Indian)
7) Most things in Rome (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.) are a mile away or less and an easy walk.
8) The hotel is near the Termini subway stop, a major train station, and a bus station.

Cons:
The only downside is that it is a smaller hotel (40+ rooms), so it does not have the amenities that a huge chain US hotel would have (e.g., pool, large lobby area, gym).

Suggestion:
If you are going to share a room (e.g., family room), buy a sound machine to create white noise (e.g., fan sound) to allow everyone to be less distractions while everyone is sleeping.

This hotel is conveniently located--about 5 minute walk to Roma Termini, busses, and Metro, near a grocery store, a decent cafe, and some restaurants. It was very clean and quiet, despite the location, and the staff were so welcoming and nice. The bathroom is well equipped and has a good hot shower. The beds were comfy. We didn't need AC but did use the heat one night and the unit works well. A little balcony opened up on a courtyard. We didn't eat the breakfast (at 14 Euro per person it was a little pricey). They stored luggage before check in and after check out. People with mobility problems should note that there are 2 sets of about 3 stairs you must go up to get to the lobby/elevator. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Rome.

Super reception staff and Housekeeper team, all in very professional attire, Beautiful terrace within room
502, Modern room interior which offered clean towels, shower gel and soap. Big comfortable bed and just a 3 minute walk from Rome Timini rail station. Close to many excellent restaurants and Gelato establishments.
We did not use the local transport during our stay and walked to all top tourist sights.

But sadly we cut ourselves on loose panelling within our room (502) outside the bathroom. Our deluxe room boasted a spa bath which sadly smelt of burning each time we turned it on.

Not the hotels fault but the room next door one night at 0200hrs played loud music, had a mini get together on their room terrace and were screaming and shouting from their.

Good location 5 mins walk from termini station. The room was of basic size and furnished in a better quality than others in the area but it was slightly higher in price because of this. We requested a bath instead of shower but this was not possible we were told. I would return only in case of bath as requested as for the price it is the room merits a bath. Reception services were very good and courteous.

We stayed at the Alpi Hotel as a family of 4, 2 Adults and 2 Teenagers.
The communication was excellent before the stay, with them booking an airport transfer and giving us restaurant recommendations in the local area.
We had booked 2 rooms, although small they are very clean and of a good standard.
We had pre dinner drinks before we went out on the terrace and a special mention to the waiter there, he payed special attention to us and an asset to the hotel.

We received an email before our booking to confirm what time we will be arriving at the hotel. As we had a very early flight and made it into the hotel at around 11 they said that they can't guarantee that our room will be ready by then but they will try their best. Arrived at the hotel and the room was ready for us, so checked in just around 11:45.
