The title says it all, this is a gorgeous hotel, our family room had it all from mosaics to lush decoration to its own roof terrace. Breakfast was served downstairs in the basement area and again was a joy, our three year old loved the...More
I often stay in the Colosseum area when on business in Rome and, as my wife was travelling with me, thought I would try a different hotel. Mid price hotels are usually either modern and bland or "character" where you can expect dodgy electrics, lifts...More

After missing flight, I took the chance to get a small neighborhood place. This hit the spot. Friendly staff, good nearby restaurant. The hotel artwork is sumptuous. The areas is near the Coliseum and lots to do..
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
