This hotel is in key distance to the centre, the steps and the Vatican. Great room we had with a view, closed off from the noise of constant beeping. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean and comforting.

We stayed 4 nights prior to a cruise. We had prearranged a pick up from the airport with the hotel. Our driver was waiting when we exited the baggage area. The hotel is tucked away on a side street. Our room was small, overlooking the street. It is an older hotel, but was comfortable for our needs. The room and... More

We stayed here Oct. 31- Nov, 3rd. We had sent an email prior to our arrival, requesting an airport pickup, and our driver met us holding a sign with our names. Our driver spoke limited english but was able to point out important areas as we headed to the hotel! our room was small but very clean and we had... More

Nicely located with walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and more. Just off Piazza Barberini loaded with resaurants and Metro stop. A short but uphill hike from Piazza. Seems to be recently completely renovated. Had first floor apartment with comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom and small balcony (no view, surrounded by walls). Generous free breakfast. Very friendly, english-fluent staff. Great... More

We took two rooms here at the end of September into October. The rooms are very clean albeit on the small side. We paid extra for the balcony and this did give a nice touch to the room. We found the location very good (Rome is big so not possible to be near everything) and as someone has already said... More

The desk staff is very helpful and very courteous. They were attentive to our needs and even asked on our last night if they could arrange our transportation to the airport without me asking. The location is a bit far from the Colosseum and the other historical ruins, but it is close to a Metro station that can take you... More

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay. The staff/service are helpful, room is clean and functional, breakfast is plentiful, centrally located and very reasonable price point. There's a scooter rental place on the same street and we rented one for a day to explore Rome (not for the faint hearted or inexperienced motorist!). One of the best was riding... More

This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at, it's immaculate. The staff at the front desk are so helpful and as this is a smaller hotel there is no standing on line to ask a question. The breakfast room is beautiful with a wide selection, home made pastries and pies from Christina in the kitchen. You can also... More

Hotel and all rooms are clean, bright, and traditionally decorated. Location is within walking distance of many of Rome's best attractions, shopping districts, and more restaurants than I thought possible. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, with lots of great recommendations for things to see and their favored restaurants.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
