The staff at the hotel was very professional, friendly and eager to please. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I was in touch with them by email numerous times before our trip. They always responded quickly. I especially like the fact that the hotel staff spoke English (as this was our first visit to Rome and we had many questions)....

Our stay was wonderful. 4 of us stayed in a 2 room suite that was clean and comfortable. This was our first trip to Europe so we weren't used to the air conditioning turning off when we left the room, a bathroom that didn't have A/C, etc. We decided to stay here based upon the reviews and that it was...

We recently returned from a trip to Rome with our two teenagers. We stayed at the Hotel Madrid and it was a wonderful experience. The location is fabulous-very close to the Spanish Steps-walking distance to everything. We walked to the Colloseum, Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona...we had a family room -two bedrooms (one queen/two singles) and one bathroom and it...

Three star hotel with a great location. The staff is very friendly. Cute terrace to have breakfast with views of Rome. Keep in mind that what you pay is what to get. Do not expect five star service.

Service, cleanliness, location, room, bathroom, terrace... everything was fabulous. Antonio and Luciano at the front desk were so helpful and polite. The view from the terrace at breakfast was exceptional. The breafast-lady remembered how we liked our coffees. So much attention to small details. The free internet worked really well. Quiet street. Close to everything. Stayed 3 days but will stay...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
