A friend and I stayed at Vatican Town for a week. This was a great place to stay at. It was a small cosy, well run B&B in a great location. Only a short walk from St.Peter's, Castell Saint Angelo and other sites of interest. Also the metro line is just around the corner. The area has many restaurants and...

The place is very good. Few minutes to Vatican or Ottaviano Station. Place is located on quiet street. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are cleaning every day. At place is tea and coffee for free. Rooms are big and comfortable. Generally from my point of view everything is ok. If in the future I will be in Rome again I...

The location was great. We walked everywhere. The breakfast was decent. The owners were wonderful. But the smell emanating from the bathroom was awful. I could deal with the lousy shower head but the smell gave me a headache.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights during July when visiting Rome. Fantastic location, just a few minutes from the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. 1 minute away from the tube station - Ottaviano (don't get ripped off by taxis from Termini as we did, take the tube!). The rest of Rome's attractions can easily be reached by...

Great place! Great service! Really clean, and all just like they promisse. Excelent location , 100 mts from subway, and 300 mts from Saint Peter square. Good breakfast , and the AC works perfect, thats really important in Rome, because of the humidity .

I stayed here for a week in December 2012 and couldn't have been happier. I booked it only 2 weeks in advance and it was a great price. It was my first time in Rome and I can't believe how lucky I got. The location is only about two blocks from Vatican City and St. Peter's Square and I loved...

We stayed 4 nights and I missed it when we went to a 4 star hotel in Naples. I felt almost like at home. Breakfast is better than some reviews might let you think and having it brought to your room at the time you chose is quite a luxury ;-) Staff are polite and very friendly. We had the...

We loved the location of this B&B. It is just a 5 minute walk to Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's square). Whether you'll go for Vatican museums (Musei Vaticani), St. Peter's Basilica (Basilica di San Pietro) or to see the pope on Sunday’s noon greeting the crowds on St. Peter's square from a window, it is very convenient. The Ottaviano...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
