My Fiancé & I stayed here for 3 nights while in Rome. We stayed in the Junior Suite which was a nicely outfitted room to stay in. It had a small kitchenette with fridge, a small bathroom (shower only) and a comfortable large double bed. We arrived using the B&B's airport transfer service. We were welcomed by the owner, who...

We had two short stays at Rhome86 choosing it for its location near Roma Termini - an easy 2 block walk. Antonio is the perfect host, eager to recommend restaurants, bars, cafes and tourist sites which are all close by. The apartment is compact, as are the rooms but very comfortable and ideal for the 2-3 nights we were in...

We very much enjoyed a three night stay at Rhome86 as part of our first visit to Italy. The B&B is very conveniently located just a few blocks from the main train station, Termini (you can catch the train to here from the airport). It is just a short walk (one minute) to the Metro station and trams run right...

Had a wonderful 4-day stay in Rome to which contributed our choice of a hotel. Its location is perfect as it is 5 minutes walking distance away from Termini station and around 15 minutes away from Colosseo and Trevi fountain. If you are looking to get further, there is a metro station literally on your door steps. Plenty of restaurants...

This cosy little B&B is a little bit outside of the city so you get to experience the real rome. Away from the overly touristy places surrounded by quaint little cafes and bars. The owner is really wonderful. He gave us some great insider tips to the city and pointed us to this amazing gelato place nearby and to one...

Located in a good, central area. The metro station is a few steps away. The rooms are clean and tidy and Antonio, the host, is very helpful and kind. He provided a map by spotting the points of interest and he explained how we can visit every attraction. He also recommended good restaurants! We will surely come back! Thank you...

We were welcomed to Rome with our prearranged driver who promptly picked us up and delivered us with our luggage to Rhome 86 where Antonio was there to greet us. He offered helpful hints for walking to the sites and recommended restaurants. The rooms were well furnished, very clean, modern and comfortable. The lounge area was well stocked with snacks,...

Convenient Location - 10 mins walk to Termini or 2 mins walk to another metro station. Stayed here for 2 nights, and got the green room. The common area is bright and filled with eatables, a computer, and eating area. The kitchen stocks a good amount of tea bags, and other items that you can use anytime. Also there are...

Antonio sure knows how to make you feel welcome and cared for. From individual breakfast service to recommendations for sight seeing, laundromats, places to dine and accommodating early breakfast calls, taxi arrangements and luggage storage Antonio is tops! We stayed twice (before and after an extended tour) and stayed in both the green room and purple room. The purple room...

Before booking this B&B, we have written an email to confirm about leaving luggages overnight without payment, and the host responded “At check-out luggage storage is allowed with no time limit”. When we checked in, we told the host that we need to put our luggages overnight here. The host told us the correct place to put our luggages and...

we have to rectify what this guest wrote. There are some not real information with respect to how things really went. The customer asked in advance to leave their luggage at check-out, this is true. But they didn't tell us that they want to leave the luggage overnight. When they left was very early and so we couldn't meet them,...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
