I've just returned from a business trip to Rome and had a great stay at Rhome86. I think first and foremost when you meet Antonio (the owner), you feel right at home. You can help yourself to food and drink in fridge and for breakfast...More
We had really good time in here. Antonio is very nice and helpfull, room was nice and clean. Very good location too - you can walk everywhere, city center is really not far away. If you are lazy - you can use metro nearby.
This b&b is not fancy. Nor is it spacious. As is usual in Europe. It is close to the train station. Metro Is across the street and down a block. Good restaurants a few blocks away. The manager is very helpful. I would stay there...More
We stayed at Rhome86 for two nights, Antonio, the host is super nice, friendly and nice. He waited and welcomed you when you arrived, cooked breakfast every morning, recommended nice restaurants nearby and also sightseeing spots. Highly recommended!

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
