Neighbourhood
Aventine
Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is Rome’s oasis. A neighbourhood made up of a patchwork of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of surprises like the clever little keyhole at the Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find a line) along with Parco Savello (Giardino degli Aranci) next to the ancient Santa Sabina church. Keep your eyes on the 1960s architecture, several modern buildings are built atop Rome’s original 4th century BC wall.

Wonderful location a couple of blocks from the Tiber. Great for energetic walkers, close to bus & metro lines and reasonably close to a pick-up point for several Hop-on Hop-off bus lines.Staff was always friendly and helpful.

I found this residence a pleasant place to stay in while you are in Rome. Palazzio Al Verablo is unique and has its flavor which is different from other places. I will blindly recommend it to any friend or relative who is visiting Rome.

I would think it would be fairly standard practice to supply Tea, Coffee , Sugar sachets , And milk for guests. And since there is no room service, washing up detergent and a tea towel should also be supplied. No one wants to be buying...More

Hi, there are four ways to achieve this goal. Go by bus, metro (you need to walk about 15 minutes to the hotel), taxi (very expensive) and shuttle service. The last option was our choice, because after a long and tiring trip... More

By taxi. Is not that far nor expensive. There is no Metro station near. The bus is another option but it really makes no sense.
